Mechs (sci-fi) with fairies (fan) in the feudal system (his-fic)? Wow, I've never seen that one before... At least, i don't think I have...

Shooby wrote:Master Keaton? If not, how about L/R?

L/R? What's that? But, no.

Also, you said close to Gypsey's. Maybe she misspelled it? Is it King of Bandit Jing, rather than King of Bandits Jing? Worth a shot.

Gah...I don't know half of these...much less one that alot of people can't figure out. I know almost nothing about One Peice, but I'm guessing that.

Bobtheduck wrote:Yes! Finally! What in particular finally gave it away?

A combination of several things.
I couldn't think of that many series that heavily involve Roman mythology and has asteroids in them as well...
Your spoiler clues (Crows, Cats, Dumplings) were not too difficult to figure out...
Doing a little searching on Google, I figured these clues out:
Ghost of the Fire, The tree's sincerity, friend of the water

Using the name meanings of several characters was very clever.
...and I remembered that you had mentioned that you were a Sailor Moon fan in another topic someplace, which upped the possibility that my hunch was correct.

I didn't crack your other clues although a few things that I did notice seemed to point toward Sailor Moon as well.
Overall, it was a tough set of clues.

Now let's see...
Can anyone figure out this one:

cursed fruit, evil clown, ocean, treasure

One piece. It has got to be One Piece. And if it's not-- If I'm wrong, you'd better lie and say I'm right. *pulls out several sharp, pointy objects * Rebellion could be very painful.

---Er, I mean, I hope this game is being conducted with integrity. ;)
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

You are correct.

Notice that I didn't put 'pirates' as a clue. I figured if I did that, it would be too obvious.

...although it was probably pretty obvious as it is.

Yeah, I say tell us. Looking at the clues, I don't see how it couldn't be the 7th Heaven (or whatever that mega-security prison was called) bit with the dream seller in Oudorobou Jing (aka Jing: King of Bandits.) The warden was even a vampire with all his nutso little bats.
