[quote="Bobtheduck (post: 1341193)"]Just beat Radical Dreamers... At least I got ending 1 of 7... I suppose I shouldn't have expected a single, simple ending for anything related to Chrono Trigger. Whether in Radical Dreamers or in Chrono Cross, the scenes with Lynx and Kid always make me cry...

Mostly crying now because Chrono should have been a trilogy (not counting RD of course) and we got the downer Chrono Cross and were left hanging...

ま]

From what I gathered listening to the Radical Dreamers and Chrono Cross episode of Retronauts, Chrono Cross was intended to supersede Radical Dreamers.

Soulcalibur IV.

I'm surprised to hear myself say this but.... this installment is weaker than the previous one. The ability to play as Darth Vader or Yoda is overrated.

Chrono Cross.

I still had an old save at Miguel, and... Well, the miguel fight is probably the single most difficult fight in the game, so... Yeah... What a way to be thrown back into the game...

Except I just beat him with almost no effort... WHAT THE CRAP?

The first time, I died 100x... I don't know why he's so easy this time (and no, it can't be leveling because CC doesn't have a traditional leveling system, and it can't be element allocation because I had a character without any allocated elements at all...) Was this just a fluke? Seriously, this battle took about 2 minutes...

Wonder why he was so hard to kill before.

"I love you so much... that is why I sometimes desire to smash you to bits"

EDIT: I think this save file must have been from a gameshark playthrough (and not a newgame +)... I may just start the game over again to play through it properly... Maybe. It only seems to affect my strength, though... Defense is still really low. EDIT: And I have 9,999,999 gold... So, yeah, it's a gameshark run. I should probably start over to play through it properly.

I'm currently playing Knights of the Old Republic (never beaten it before; it's pretty awesome) and Mother 3 (recently downloaded it and am playing with the fan translation; so far it's amazing). I'm enjoying both games immensely. Oh, and I'm finally trying to finish up my Lost Odyssey game (I'm on Disc 3, woot).

I'm also preparing to sink plenty of time into Halo 3: ODST when it comes out. :D

Poke'mon Platinum and Emerald. I never did finish Emerald, and I'm planning on transporting my poke'mon from it to my Platinum game once I beat it.

Meh, Gen IV wasn't so great. It kind of halted after Gen III finished up.

Beat Batman - Arkham Asylum.

They did a very nice job on the characters. Should have had a whole campaign based on Scarecrow.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance on PS2. I bought the game a month ago but never got around to really playing it. Picked it up tonight and enjoyed it quite a bit. MUCH better than X-men Legends 2 IMO, which is basically the same type of game. The controll scheme felt much more easier and there's something about the game I just liked more than Legends 2. When Ultimate Alliance 2 comes out soon I'll maybe check it out...

MadWorld - I FINALLY BEAT IT. I was one of the first people to buy it, but it took me so long to finally kill The Black Baron.

Art Style PiCTOBiTS - I've had my DSi for a month now, and this and Mighty Flip Champs are probably the DSiWare games I play the most. For good reason. There's nothing wrong with a Picross-Quarth-Tetris hybrid with cool NES sprites and music composed by YMCK, yes?

Mighty Flip Champs - This is the other DSiWare game I play a lot. It's a puzzle-platformer that's really hard to describe in words. All I must say is, if you have a DSi, GET THIS GAME. It's 800 DSi Points, which is a bit of a sticker shock, but it's worth it.

Rhythm Tengoku - The Japan-only prequel to Rhythm Heaven, this game is AMAZIN'. It's for the GBA. All you do is press buttons (mostly the A button) to the music in wacky WarioWare-styled minigames.

Also, can't wait to get Muramasa: The Demon Blade.

Picked up a used copy of Clive Barker's Jericho for $9 last week. Dunno why I'm supposed to hate this game. It's really not that bad. Definitely a Clive Barker production though, in every sense.

Had the day off today, so I went out and picked up Katamari Forever. It's nice to see so much variety in the objectives. We haven't really had that since We Love Katamari. And the different graphical filters are nice, too. Actually, the filters and the "soundtrack selection" feature aren't immediately available; you unlock them as you rack up more points, which gives you more incentive to replay some levels.
Overall, it's everything Beautiful Katamari should have been.

A really fun, addictive game... to bad the main female character has to call every male a pervert at least once. -.- Ooh~ like you couldn't have a more interesting personality then that! ...yeah, so I pretty much hate Lita. >.> It doesn't help the fact she's voiced (in English) with the voice I hate most... Once more, into SRT:OG2. It seems to have stopped being incredibly confusing, in favor of being incredibly awesome. Pilots are getting super robots left and right, each with appropriately awesome introductions. I was waiting for the game to pick up, and here we are.

And now, for a quick inventory of my party at this point (contains spoilers): I've got a couple psychics who pilot an ancient Chinese dragon-tiger mech, a robot made out of three smaller ones that can use a fourth as a gun, Santa Claus' pirate cousin as a ship captain, two girls in twin mechs that can dance enemies to death, a mech with an elf face, a robot/cyborg former mole for the other side, some sort of demigod (they call him the Elemental Lord); a few brainwashed child soldiers who are now not-brainwashed child soldiers for me, a samurai with a sword the size of a skyscraper (lol, alliteration), and a guy wearing goggles who is not in ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM, some other guy's brother, whose mech turns into a horse for the samurai, and overrides boss themes with his own theme. And that's not even half my team.

Yeah. It's fun.
We are loved even though we suck.

You people know I love me some Megaten, so invariably I've picked up Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor. Enjoying the auction and fusion system so far, though heck if it the free battle choice isn't absolutely useless.

Meanwhile, also borrowing Advance Wars: Dual Strike from a friend.

Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box... love it. Much better than the first IMO. The puzzles actually have SOMETHING to do with what's going on and not just a bunch of random puzzles to solve. Great story this time around too. I liked the last one but this one is a lot more interesting IMO.
