I reccommend anything by CLAMP, (Most is shoujo, so, yeah,) Saiyuki, Inuyasha, and GetBackers. (I've only read one manga of that, but it kicks butt.)

You should check out manga mania forum for more in depth looks at different series to get ideas. ^_^

yeah, hop on over to manga mania and you'll get more help.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

Manga:
Ren_sama wrote:If your going for Bishie type/action manga, maybe you could consider DN Angel, Canidate for Godess, Prince of Tennis or Fruits Basket...they're all pretty good~

.hack//legend of twilight is also good...^_^ similar to .hack/sign except different chars and plot. ^___^

Pita Ten is good too....on the cute side, with chibi-style characters....XD

Shaman King, Jing:King of Bandits, and Full Metal Panic I think are good manga for action/comedy....

Also, any CLAMP manga is good...essp. Angelic Layer~ like Ash said...^.^

Lessie...romance manga, I would say Fruits Basket (again), Kill Me Kiss Me, Girl got game.

I think one manga that's coming out in May, that you could consider is Chrno Crusade...I have heard a lot about it, and if its the same as the anime, it should be pretty good... :D

Okay, I think that's all....^^''

EDIT:
Hikaru no GO is also good~!!!

**Hikaru no Go and Prince of Tennis are game/sport mangas...so you might want to make sure you like em before you buy it. Because some people don't really care for mangs that center around a game or sport....^^'' just a friendly warning....

Anime:
Same as manga, plus Shaman King, One Piece, Witch Hunter Robin, and Inuyasha. Saiyuki is really good, but Im warning you: it's rated 16+ FOR A REASON. ^__^''

I would go with Gundam. Gundam 0079 is the GREATEST ANIME EVER!!!!
You can't go wrong. Also Arjuna is really good, but the music is done by Yoko Kanno so what can you expect. Escaflowne is also another amazing series. Naruto is really good too. Neon Genesis Evangelion (also known as the greatest anime of all time) is a must see.

Given some of the titles mentioned--and the fact you are going to get a wide variety of titles suggested, which probably won't be very respectful to your personal tastes and weaknessess--perhaps it would be best for you to check our reviews section for some perspective as well.

Volume 1. It was pretty okay in my opinion.

One Piece, Naruto, Shaman King (Read the manga it's better then the anime)... maybe Hikaru No Go and Love Hina.

But, that's just what I like... Depends on what genres you like. Oh, and since you like RK, you might want to check out Samurai X:Trust & Betrayl

Well, first of all you can't read anime....you read manga, and I would recomment inuyasha, dragonball, z, and gt, fclc, witch hunter robin, tenchi universe, and outlaw star. Check em out dude!
