Since other message boards are mad at me.....

Anyways there's a trend of Old movies and shows comming back lately.

So.........

Should Akira be given a TV series?

I would love to see an Akira series. The manga was to big to be done justice by a one shot movie. I can easily see it as a 26 episode series.

It would definitely have very graphic violence/gore. Probably pretty close to the level seen in the movie, since they seem to be pushing the limit on tv series in Japan recently.

Not Really Stand alone Complex was alot tamer than the Ghost in the Shell movie and that was Pay Per View.

Stand Alone Complex is quite TV friendly so I don't see why Akira couldn't be at that level too..........Possibly

My own vision of an Akira tv series is one that stays true to the manga, which has about the same level of gore as the movie stretched through all six volumes.
