I finished Megaman 8 today, so it's on to Rockman and Forte. I'm also deep into Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and nearing the end of the game (bittersweet....there's always HARD mode, hahaha).
I also picked up New Super Mario Bros. to get some stuff I missed the first play through.

Well, I finally found a good enough deal on a PS2 to break a decade of Nintendo loyalty. Ironically, I ended up paying more for the first game (Final Fantasy 12) than I did for the system itself. It was well worth it, though. I have played FF 1-6, but have been completely out of the loop concerning FF 7-12. It was quite a pleasant surprise to see the new battle system complete with programmable macros and removal of random encounters (which have long been the aspect of Final Fantasy games that I dislike the most).

Serious fun. It has been way too long since I have played a big JRPG.

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune for about the hundredth time. I've found 49 of the 60 hidden treasures and I'm working on stacking up those medals. I love that game, it's just so darn cool.
Can't wait for Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. It's gonna be like when God of War II first came out and I played it and was totally floored by the mere fact that anything could top God of War, let alone blow it out of the water. I have high hopes for this game and from what I've seen, I shouldn't be let down.

Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising

A charming war simulator. Charming. War simulator. Seriously, a game with this much attitude dissonance shouldn't be this lovable, but there it is. Probably helps that the strategy portion of the game is so fine tuned (though a couple maps in the war room are ridiculously stacked in favor of your enemies), and your COs are genuinely likable.

I'm on some sort of freakish retro-kick right now. I purhased a sega genesis collection for my PSP to play in my final days at my job and a part of me (A weird collector-fettishist part of me that thinks I have more money than I do) wants me to buy one of those retro clone consoles that plays like NES, SNES, and Genesis all on one system.

Eternal Sonata. Easier since someone told me about Orange glow (when I had the demo) but I'm wondering if there are any inns or anything like that (haven't gotten far yet and there were no inns in the demo) because if I can only heal in battle or with items, it's going to be annoying, particularly when there's no sunlight.

Rented EAT LEAD: THE RETURN OF MATT HAZARD!

This. Game. Is. AWESOME!

It's also way meta meta. there is no such thing as the fourth wall. But seriously, if you grew up playing videogames, and specifically the first FPS games like Wolfenstein and Duke Nukem, you will love this game. There's a bit of adult content, but it's rated M so use your own judgement.

It's been a year or so since I played and I've attempted to go through it twice before giving in, but as I recall they use an alternate method of health regeneration. I think it's either at level up or when you hit save points. I could be wrong.

I'm playing through Metal Gear Solid 3 now, trying to get a no kill/no alert run. I WOULD like to play through Metal Gear Solid 4 again.....real soon....I could...but I also want to go through Metal Gear Solid 1 and 2....I don't know >_<
I gave up on Megaman and Bass right now....not enough patience.....and I'm Megaman'ed out.
I've also put Mother on hold for the moment.

Still on Eternal Sonata, as well as playing the demos for yakuza 3 and Infamous...

I'm about to tear my hair out in Eternal sonata... No inns, the monsters here don't give curative items, all but my newest character are underleveled, there are no towns nearby, and there's almost no light spots in these battles, meaning Polka and Frederic's healing won't do me any good... It's hard to level if you come close to dying every battle...

EDIT: Ok, I've been hugging the torches and spamming orange glow, and I was finally able to get all my life back... after losing all my items. *sigh* Oh, and I leveled for about an hour and it locked up on me... Or, rather, my character stopped moving and the only button that did anything in game was the pause button. That's the only time that's ever happened.

Just finished DMC3:SE

I was able to beat the entire game, except for the last two bosses, on Normal mode. For myself, that is not a bad achievement. I loved the insanely over the top fighting and the aesthetics were great as well. Perhaps the most unusual thing about it, however, is that the story actually wasn't all that bad.

I settled on the Trickster style quite early on and haven't regretted it since. I alternate between using Beowulf, Rebellion, and Agni & Rudra. As far as guns go I didn't make much use out of anything other than Ebony & Ivory. Perhaps the gunslinger style will change that.

Great experience, overall. Thanks to UC for writing the review for it, I probably wouldn't have gotten it otherwise. I am glad I did.

Spent the last two weeks playing through the first four episodes of Umineko no Naku Koro ni, a horror/mystery sound novel by the guys who made Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. Pretty mindblowing stuff.

Yay cannibalism! I'm waiting for the anime version. I know it'll leave out half the story, but... It'll actually be watchable. I don't know if I could sit through walls and walls of text while the same pictures of people looking straight at you cycle and such. I've tried to watch some of the chapters on youtube.

At least it looks better, artwise, than the first run of Higurashi.

Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, which I proceeded to complete (100%) in not even two full days. I've chiefly been playing RPGs lately, with a dose of incredibly short freeware titles, so perhaps my conception of game length is skewed.

Also, attempting a perfect run of Final Fantasy IX, minus Excalibur II.

The first chapter was pretty slow because it had an enormous cast to set up and introduce. Once stuff actually starts to happen though, it's pretty gripping and it stays that way. Also, the music plays a ridiculously huge role in the absence of anything interesting visually.

A bunch of oldies, mostly. Final Fantasy VIII (<3 this one soooo much), Spyro The Dragon (XD), Final Fantasy IX (until it completely screwed up on Disc 2), Pokemon Crystal (oh the nostalgia!), EarthBound (fwee~), and maybe Digimon - Digital Card Battle if it didn't keep locking up.

I'm playing Eat Lead. While I haven't gotten too far into the game, yet, I've already got a feeling I'm not going to like it nearly as much as I want to. First off, the gameplay is absolutely, positively horrible. This is probably the worst shooter gameplay I've ever had to suffer through, and I played Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness. You really shouldn't even have to shoot, 90% of the time. You'll only use guns when you're outnumbered, because in any other situation, they're friggin' useless.

Second, this game has no excuse whatsoever for not making me laugh. NONE. I mean, you've got WILL FREAKING ARNETT AND NEIL PATRICK HARRIS in your cast! And it isn't as if it takes a ton of work to elicit a smile out of me, y'know? I thought freaking Scary Movie was funny. The opening cinematic was mildly amusing, but other than that, it doesn't even seem like they tried. Hopefully, it'll get better in that regard, otherwise, this might just be the worst console game I've played in a long, long time.

I've been playing through Final Fantasy VI Advance on my DS, Final Fantasy XII on my PS2, and Lost Odyssey on my Xbox 360. As it turns out, I've got too many JRPGs right now. XD (And I still need to beat FFVII and FFIV...) Thankfully, I beat Eternal Sonata recently, so that's one RPG down.

Oh, and I'm playing WoW right now, but considering my on-and-off past with that game, I don't know how long that will last. XD

WoW (world of warcraft)
Disgaea hour of darkness
I am the bone of my sword
Steel is my body and fire is my blood
I have created over a thousand blades
Unknown to death
Nor known to life
Have withstood pain to create many weapons
Yet these hands shall never hold anything
So, as I pray, "Unlimited Blade Works"

Mainly, I've been playing Pokemon Platinum and Super Smash Brothers Brawl. Brawl is what I've been playing the most recently, since at nights I'm starting to draw. [I play DS before bed, normally. X.x] I'm hoping to play a special GameCube game, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, once again, but my little brother lent out my Controller I use for my GC to his friend a long while ago and has yet to retrieve it. -.-'
