Big Anime Sale at Best Buy

Starting today and going through the 21st, quite a few (but not all) Best Buy stores are clearancing ALL their anime for 50% off. We got three boxsets of DBZ for about 60 dollars total! Did anyone else score anything cool?

A store near me is on the list(that was posted a while ago, I don't know if it's still up to date), but I sadly can't get over there until Tuesday. (silly school) D:

Hopefully there will be something left when I get there. XDD I have a few titles I want to see if I can get.

This is sad b/c probably my Best Buys are probably among them (though I usually order on the web now whenever I do order) and now in my area first it was the FYE closing in the mall (leaving only the Apple store left for me to hang out at when I visit the mall since there's no more book store there anymore either) and now BB is getting rid of their anime.

I know probably mine is underperforming b/c I know that someone here lives in the same state as me.

It's also sad that my late mom was right in a way but yet this is also a bad economy though my point still stands...why sell anime when "hardly anyone" buys it? LOL Also now where exactly can one buy anime anymore except off the web?

(parenthetically saddened by memories that right before stores pushed out VHS for DVD I remember seeing and buying series like Marmalade Boy and Ai Yori Aoshi and Escaflowne and now one can't find any copies of those DVDs anywhere in a physical store and pretty much all anyone sells these days is what's super popular like Naruto and stuff....not really knocking Naruto but everyone seems to go with what the kids and teens want)

ANYWAY, I went back to Millerville Best Buy and I took a look at "The Girl that Jumped Through Time". I was considering it...anybody saw/liked it?

It gave me a whole new appreciation for the fact that God runs the show, not me! I only saw it in sub (which had some language in it).

Well, we certainly enjoyed ourselves. The kids were bouncing all over the anime aisle saying, "Mama look! We found Tsubasa! Look over here! It's DN Angel!"

We got Black Cat, Volume 11 of Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle and Season 2 Part 2 of Fullmetal Alchemist. Not bad, but still a sigh fest. Now where am I supposed to buy my anime?
