Late Night With Conan O'Brien: The Final Week

Postby Radical Dreamer » Fri Feb 20, 2009 10:55 pm

So tonight was the last episode of Late Night with Conan O'Brien! Did anyone else get the chance to watch this past week? It's been absolutely hilarious, and even touching in tonight's last episode. I am SO glad, though, to hear that Conan isn't going to "grow up" at all in his future episodes as host of The Late Show; it's best for him to stay the same as he's always been! XD

Anyways, for those of you who did watch it, did you have any favorite guest or "best of" segments? I'm curious to know how many other fans of Conan there are on this forum. XD

Sadly, I missed most of this week's episodes, but you'd better believe I watched every second of last night!

Y'know what's cool?

Now that he's moved, I have a chance to see him live.

I'm not the biggest O'Brien fan. In fact, I prefer Jay Leno more than Cona. Find him more funny and not as annoying. Plus, Jay's hair doesn't usually give the viewer eye problems. Darn you bright orange!
If Conan keeps Headlines, some form of Jay Walking, and Pitch to America, I may watch the new reincarnated Tonight Show. Still won't be the same though.

EDIT: He is replacing Leno right?

Yes, but I think Leno's still gonna have a show of his own, too, so I doubt he'll hand over much material to Conan.

Not that I mind, I VASTLY prefer Conan's way of doing things.

I find Conan far more endearing (and hilarious) than Leno, and as a fellow red-head, I have to say I appreciate the hair. XD That said, Conan already has his own version of Headlines (though it's twisted and generally more funny), and since Leno is only moving to a prime time spot, he will, as Blitzkrieg said, probably be keeping most of his own gags. Additionally, Conan himself said that he wasn't going to "grow up" at all in his new 11:00 spot, and so I expect to see much of the same material he uses now (please bring back the Fed Ex Pope and Shoeverine XDD).

Also, I'm pretty sure that Conan's "version" of Headlines is a deliberate parody of Leno's.
