Sakura. I don’t know why, but this name just has an alluring sound to it…..Hmm, almost like Cherry Blossoms…

Rei. Same Idea, I don’t know why this name sounds so neat….. it just does.

Well, my favorite anime names for men are characters that I see similarities in my personality (and they are my favorite male characters). As for women, my favorite names happen to be from my favorite female characters.

I like the name 'Hitomi' from Vision of Escaflowne, which is just a Japanese play on words, Hitomi being the word that means 'eye' (or 'pupil' of the eye), and her having visions and all!!! I like the name 'Merle,' too, even though she is SO annoying in Escaflowne!!! I also like the name 'Kyo', from Fruits Basket!
