Favorite X-men

Postby rocklobster » Sat Jan 31, 2009 4:53 am

The X-men are my favorite Superhero team ever, besides the Justice League.
So, since they're such a popular team, I thought I'd do a thread asking for everyone's favorite members. Here are mine:
Nightcrawler (we have lots in common)
Shadowcat
Cyclops
Jean Grey
Professor X
Wolverine

I've always liked nightcrawler.
"Who is this?" they said to Me
'That the wind and waves obey
Come, let's hang Him on a tree
That His reign should pass away'
But here I am I say to you
Though you turn away, it is My will
To love you for forevermore
Peace be still, peace be still

Unlike most members here, I've been fairly charitable to the stream of useless threads. But guys, we could please keep them in Goof Off? There's no reason to let them leak into the rest of the board.

It's a tie between Nightcrawler and Wolverine for me.

Jubilee and Nightcrawler have always been my favorites. Nightcrawler's checkered origins are kind of a lot for me to take, but it is a comic book, so I give allowances.

Unlike most members here, I'm not quite as charitable to your horrendous attitude. If you post simply to broadcast your quasi-sociopathic animus towards rocklobster, could you at least keep that in Goof Off? At least then people will think you are just kidding.

Also, Nightcrawler.

Perhaps people should take problems up to via private messaging instead of trying to further derail a thread.

I don't see what "Who's your favorite X-Man" has to do with Goof-Off. The X-men are movie, cartoon, and comic-related, thus are perfectly suited to a forum called "General Entertainment."

"Fairly charitable"? What is this, a dictatorship?

On topic, my picks are Jubilee, Nightcrawler, Gambit, Northstar, Joseph, Storm.

Thanks for defending me. Honestly, I really don't know what I did to offend F & C so much. Perhaps I just breathe his air...

Nightcrawler. By far. My three most wanted powers are the ability to read a girl's mind, teleportation, and control of time. As most of the telepaths in X-men can read EVERYONE'S mind (what's the point in that... Listening to a man's thoughts? OUTRAGEOUS! ) and as far as I know (don't really follow them) no one controls time to the degree and in the way I'm referring to, I'll have to stick to Nightcrawler.

Yay for 1 post in 2 months!

*thinks about the extent of her Marvel Comics exposure*

*remembers back to X-Men Evolution (you know, that cartoon where the X-Men are all angsty high schoolers) and yes, those X-Men live-action movies*

Yeeeeah... I'm just gonna go with "Shadowcat is a really cute, spunky girl" and leave it at that.

Nightcrawler, Beast, and Gambit.

I liked Cyclops and Wolverine, but the movie Cyclops was a bit emo for me, and Wolvie's comics are getting a bit hardcore for me.
