Too Bad Arnold only makes a brief appearance in it, I'm looking forward to seeing this film along with Transformers Revenge of the Fallen and GI Joe Rise of Cobra, all three should be very great.
Some of my favorite scriptures.

Psalm91
A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

Hebrews 4-4
1Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
2For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
3For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
4For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.

James 4
Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.

Revelation 22:14
Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Meh... I'm looking forward to it but I'm feeling a little blah towards it. Its rated PG-13. The other three were R. Usually when they cut the rating to reach a wider audience, the movie tends to really suck bad. Plus isn't it directed by the guy who's only other real claim to fame was Charlie's Angels? Umm ya... My hopes are not very high....

Christian Bale accepting the role gives me a tiny bit of hope but they all have their downs and maybe this is gonna be his.

This true that they cutting the rating down for a wider audience, but another reason for this is, so they have have a toy line out as well. They are already wokring on a licensing deal for action figures with Playmates Toys.

Is that a new policy that if they have a toyline out it can't be R? I distinctly remember Aliens/Alien 3, Terminator, RoboCop and Starship Trooper toys available at Toys R Us... I haven't been in Toys R Us in a looong time though.

From my take, yes.

This was posted at Sci Fi Channel web site back in May.

Sci Fi Channel wrote:T4 Eyes PG-13

As production starts this week on Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, the next installment in the SF franchise, producers at the Halcyon Co. said they are aiming at a PG-13 rating for the Warner Brothers movie, which is set for release on May 22, 2009, Variety reported.

The Terminator series is one of the highest-grossing R-rated franchises of all time, with the first three films having grossed more than $1.03 billion worldwide. But Halcyon producers thought it was time to broaden the upcoming fourth film's audience base, and they believe the PG-13 won't compromise the series' gritty vision.

A family-friendly rating opens many doors, including a Terminator Salvation licensing deal for action figures with Playmates Toys.

Halcyon has already launched Halcyon Games to create a Terminator game for release at the same time as the movie.

Set in post-apocalyptic 2029, the movie centers on an adult John Connor, played by Christian Bale, who leads the war to save humanity from the killing machines.

I don't think that Arnold is making a cameo appearance in this one...

Yeah, they are just using archive footage from the other movies.

Roland Kickinger will play the the prototype T-800, Schwarzenegger did visited the set, leading to rumors he was providing his voice and got scanned for a digital double, which would be mapped onto Kickinger's physique. He had granted the Halcyon Company permission to use his likeness in the film.

Saw the trailer yesterday. I haven't seen all of the movies in their entirety, but this one looks interesting.

:wow!:

You've never watched T1 and 2? Two of my all time favorite movies. Go watch them now.

And I know its not the most popular opinion but I actually prefer T1 over T2.

Back on topic... I do hope a young Kyle Reese shows up in this one or the next (there's a sequel already planned am I correct?). They can end the whole saga with Reese going through the portal to 1984. In fact, the way I see it, thats the only way they CAN end this.

And I really need to get my hands on the SCC first season. I saw the first two episodes but because of my work schedule, I work during the time its on and I'm not up to date with current things like TiVo or whatever the crap thats stuff is called now. I really don't watch TV a lot but this was really the first show I felt I could get into since Highlander: The Series.

Kyle Reese will be be in this as teenaged soldier and admirer of John Connor and will be played by Anton Yelchin.

Christian Bale did sign up for three Terminator movies, T4, T5 and T6, but this was said in June and since then nothing else has been said.

Bale Balked At Terminator

Sci Fi Channel wrote:
Christian Bale, who plays a grown-up John Connor in the upcoming Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, told reporters that he hesitated to take a pivotal role in another major SF franchise after playing Bruce Wayne/Batman in Batman Begins and the upcoming sequel, The Dark Knight.

"My feeling is that, you know, we have an opportunity and a responsibility" to such franchises, Bale said in a group interview in Beverly Hills, Calif., on June 29 to promote Dark Knight.

Bale added: "There's no point in making it if we don't achieve this: ... Reinventing that mythology, and there's a great deal of potential for that, and that is what I'm attempting to do. Anything less than that would be us failing."

Bale plays the iconic hero of the human revolution in Terminator Salvation, which attempts to reboot the franchise in the first of three films set after the nuclear holocaust of Judgment Day.

I still say Bale will breath new life into these films. I know some people will bash on it, but from what I have seen everything looks quite good.

I finally saw the SCC season 1 (well, I have 3 episodes left). But I gotta say, if the show can be that good, be quite suspenseful and gritty and still get on TV (the show was quite violent/graphic), they should be able to get away with a PG-13 rating. Seeing the show has given me a bit of hope that this movie will actually be good cause I'm REALLY liken the show. I thought they did quite well with getting the atmosphere and feel of the future down. I was wishing they would spend more time in the future scenes so now I'm really pretty psyched for this movie. My one concern is, from the trailers, the future doesn't look as dark and bleak as it does even in the show... too much fighting and stuff during the day. They hid/slept during the day and moved around and fought at night to avoid being spotted. Plus it makes it much more suspenseful and bleak at night. Still I expect this to be better than the show and if that's the case, this should be a very good movie IMO.
