I read the article and had a little chuckle about what they had to say. However I scrolled down and saw "Uwe Boll" and "Far Cry" in the same blurb.

My heart sank. I was contemplating suicide. Again.

Anyway, to re-rail the thread. I personally think Hugh Jackman should find other outlets to broadcast his legendary mutton chops.

I am so sick of Wolverine in the X-Men movies. My word. They are spitting all over the fans of X-men by assuming the only one we care about is Wolverine. Meanwhile, they destroy Rogue, Omit Gambit,

Kill Cyclops and Pro X

The new X-men movies have been garbage. I won't be watching this, and I hope the Wolverine film flops. But I doubt it will, since everyone seems more interested in seeing Hugh Jackman run around clawing things....then actual good true to the comic story. *END RANT*

Wonderful =__= That's a movie I'll be sure to avoid... I was hoping that after the disaster that was the third movie, they'd put an end to the series for good. All my favourite characters are dead and Wolverine got annoying long ago. Now they're giving him his own movie? That particular character only has charm when given little amounts of attention. *sighs* The only way I'll be watching another of their movies is if Gambit makes an appearence.

i think this might be a good chance to redeem themselves for screwing up the 3rd movie big time. (still hoping that gambit and nightcrawler might be able to make more prominent appearances. especially gambit).

I knew something was wrong with the third X-Man movie when they cut Nightcrawler for some kind of video game tie-in.

This does not bode well.

Funny, but I actually liked the 3rd movie.....*_*.......There was something about it that just worked for me, unlike the previous two...Then again, I've never read the actual comics, so they probably did mess up something and I didn't know it......

But on this whole new Wolverine movie, I really am not looking forward to seeing it....

OH YEAH, MILK THAT COW!

I think the era of good and decent superhero movies is over. I mean, DC and Marvel are going so far as to write movies for Green Lantern, Captain Marvel, Captain America... no one cares about these guys! (Well, GL is OK.) Please...

At least those aren't five sequels for one specific hero in a series that contains numerous main characters.

Don't underestimate the popularity of characters who have been around the American cultural scene longer than you've been alive. Captain America and Green Lantern are most certainly is still a big deal.

And as long as we've got Christopher Nolan heading the Batman film franchise, the era of good superhero movies marches on, even if under only one banner.

No One cares bout Captain, I heard that. Thats why hes current book is an Eisner award winner, and thats why they made an omnibus of the first 25 issue of said current series. CNN and other news network did stories bout his death because they knew no one would care.

Also Green Lantern has just finished The "Sinestro Corps. War" Arc which I've heard nothing but praise of its awesomeness...GL also playing a HUGE Role in the upcoming "Final Crisis" which is said to be "The Lord Of The Rings of the DC universe"

But anyway...No One likes Cap.

On topic:

Meh, I'll see it. I agree they did The Phoenix Saga mega injustice. But I'd rather see another weapon X project named Deadpool have a movie....Yes!

Yeah, it seems they've become convinced that Wolverine's where the money is. I think enough "origins" info has already been covered in the previous movies, we don't need a whole one about him. If they wanna make an all-Wolverine movie, they may as well call it Weapon X.
But if they gotta put "X-Men" in the title, I'd like to see how it plays out after the end of the third. As long as it has Gambit in it. He was always my favorite. If there's no Gambit, then forget it.

Or better yet, how about a Sub-Mariner movie! Yeah, Sub-Mariner!
. . . or maybe not.

Nice look at the new film. Gambit looks good, kinda hoping we see him in a trench coat at some point. And yes, I am kinda excited about the film despite my earlier posts in this thread.

Show some respect for the Cap.

Also, did you even see The Dark Knight, as Fish pointed out? What about Iron Man? Even the Incredible Hulk was enjoyable. The era of good and decent superhero movies is just getting warmed up. The reason those characters YOU don't care about are getting movies is not to milk the cash cow, but because the market is finally in a place where movies about those characters could become viable. As soon as a Captain America movie gets made, I'm going to be there at midnight.

Deadpool also is not wearing a mask.

Frown. Frown.

Hopefully he gets the mask during the movie at least. And it was kinda cool seeing Gambit blow Wolverine through a wall.

Edit. The scene where he jumps from the exploding hummer to the helecopter is probably one of the most true to comics scenes that they have done yet. A tad silly looking...but he did stuff like that in the comics a lot.

His costume is quite possibly nearly as ridiculous as Superman's.

Well you gotta admit... of all the super hero outfits, he has one of the worst >.< Plus his name is stupid. Captain America? YES I KNOW THERE ARE OTHER STUPID NAMES OUT THERE... but his is not even creative.

He fits in there with Superman as one of the most unoriginal, uncreative, boring super heros ever.
