Fables comic to be adapted to television

I'm not sure what to think about this.....

This strikes me as an odd choice. I love Fables, but I'm not sure how well it will translate to television.

Oooh, that sounds exciting! The Big Bad Wolf has been on television once before...

I wonder how closely they'll follow the source material. Maybe they'll give a basic setup and then run it like a typical crime show, only with fairy tale characters.

Haha wow. I saw this thread then looked Fables up. Looks interesting, but definitely not family friendly lol. Prime time? Idk how that would work. Its fairy tales so lots of little kids might watch thinking its okay and then BAM! XD

That is so freakin weird! I'll probably watch a few episodes just to see what it's like though...See how it measures up to the graphic novel.
