Quick Mac Question

Postby That Dude » Sat Dec 13, 2008 12:14 pm

For any knowledgeable mac user, is it easy to find and replace the internal hard=drive in an older (2004 I think) G4? Do you know what type of hard-drive should be used as an upgrade? Many thanks.

Moved to Computing...

What kind of G4? If it's one of the silver/blue/grey tower units, it's pretty simple. And you can go to the apple menu and click on About This Mac -> More info to see what kind of drive you need. Most likely, you can make use of a simple IDE drive.
