Top Cow comics character the Magdalena is slated to get her own movie released in 2010, as per the IMDb.

I'm really looking forward to this. The Magdalena (especially the Patience incarnation) is one of my favorite female comic characters (despite the iffy religious connotations), and the actress really seems passionate about it and being true to the character.

And she won't be wearing that weird thong outfit, thank God.

To those unfamiliar with the character, behold: the Comic Vine article.

I don't know much about the character, but I DID see a totally hot splash page of her on scans_daily. She was gorgeous.

Yeah, the one in that link.

I'm not familiar with the character, but after the Wanted movie I'm willing to give any movie based on a Top Cow IP a try. Using the original as inspiration instead of as a guideline worked out pretty well.

Anyways, after reading about the character, she sounds like she will make a great movie. I'll need to grab some Top Cow stuff the next time I'm looking to spend a few bucks on something new.

If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things."

Eric Basualda is the best artist for her IMO. She's got good muscle underneath that skintight outfit. I do hope that they'll still go for the religious-looking armor on her costume.

Also, more Luke Goss plz.
