I say no, because of the history of mecha anime titles. They just don't do all that well in the US.

If you look a the UC Gundams, you only have hard core UC fans that like them and others will not really give them a chance.

The AC have seen to do a little better, but not much, other then Gundam Wing.

I kind never really understand how Gundam Wing got that big in the US. Sure, I still like it and all. I feel that the only reason why it did well in the US, was because it was the first Gundam series to be showed on TV in the US and the crazy fangirls that love the show for all the wrong reasons.

I say no as well, just because Gundam Wing was some kind of fluke. And like Roy said, mecha shows have a pretty bad track record in the US (which is a shame).

The fact that only 5 people have voted is a no vote.

MECHA!!!
lol I guess all my first anime titles were mecha so I love it anyways..
woot for Gundam SEED and Gundam SEED Destiny!
[I know ppl don't adore these titles but hey I like them]

I've seen the first episode of Gundam 00 in sub and it didn't leave a lasting impression... I don't think it's going to be stellar here in North America... I might watch the series if it airs here in Canada but I don't think it'll become a huge fandom.. [THANK YOU LORD] ..which is good because huge fandoms tend to gain rabid fans...[Naruto anyone?]
so yeah that's my thoughts coming from my mecha fangirl side...

-Sincerely,
animewarrior

PS - I have to do this... angst...Angst.. ANGST... [LOLz]

The show starts this Monday(11/24) at 11 p.m east.
Gundam fans lets show our support for Gundam.
I would love for SciFi Channel to be amazed by the ratings.

I'm so glad someone posted this, I about forgot all about it.

Man, I wish there was a anime tv lineup thread. Oh, wait, there is!

Why, I mean as a gundam fan, I know that mecha fans don't care or will support it. Sci Fi channel is just getting this, because of Manga Entertainment.
