YAY! Thanks for the link! This looks like it may be another awesome installment in the series. I hope it's not pushed back either!
Really? I have an 80GB PS3 and it plays my PS2 games just fine. I hope that's not a glitch I'll encounter down the road kind of like the XBox 3 rings of death.
Let's see I traded in Growlanser: Heritage of War, kept all the collectibles it came with but just didn't like it at all. Instead, I put the money towards Sega Superstars Tennis for the Wii.....one word: Ulala!!
It's nice to see her out of SC5 again! ^___^
Yeah, I know what you mean about Rock Band... by the time I get the bills, gas money and everything else sorted, I am left with just a little, so I gotta save over the weeks or hope overtime at work continues.
Yeah, I am indeed looking forward to the new Midnight Club! I haven't even finished PGR4 or Forza 2 all the way, due to being short on time haha but I can't wait for a good new racer.
I've got the 80gb PS3 too... but I was told the 80gb model is running emulation software, which makes sense considering what I have encountered myself. There are some games that glitch bad, and some that won't even work. I just bought Mana Khemia: Alchemist of Al-Revis, a newer PS2 game, and it doesn't work at all. I have had about 7 games not work for me so far... about 3 that were glitch filled and had major framerate problems. That's a small amount considering the PS2 library, but it can be a bit upsetting if you go in expecting the backwards compatibility like the PS2 had.
I know someone who tested the backwards compatibility on the 60gb model and the 80gb model, and they found that the 60gb model was much better. They tested their whole PS2 collection, which was 124 games total. The 60gb version played all but 30 of the games, while the 80gb model played only 68 of his games. So it just all depends on which games you have in your collection of course... but I just found it really upsetting when I learned of that. I've gotten over it, but just be aware to check some websites that have lists of games that work and don't work on the PS3.
I've also heard that the future PS3 models are gonna lose the backwards compatibility all together... I can't confirm that bit of info, but it wouldn't surprise me... it makes me sad. I am still upset about very few Xbox games working on the 360... I don't feel I should have to keep 4762786262 systems to unhook and hook up all the time. :p I'm just picky like that
One system to play all games! FTW ( bad for business, but good for me
)
Sega Superstars Tennis is a game I have been thinking about... not sure which system to get it for, but I am thinking the Wii version would be the most fun
I'm trading in Magna Carta: Tears of Blood, Baroque and Art of Fighting Anthology tomorrow, after work.
