indeed, indeed! i am also very eagerly awaiting this movie. as i continue to watch the awesome trailers each day, i continue to find myself in awe, especially at Ledger's mindblowing performance. looks like he went all out as the Joker. this movie is going to be incredible...

Well, I was going to see it at the midnight release, but I couldn't round up any friends to see it with me. In the end I just stayed home. Now I am starting to regret that decision.

It was incredible. Seriously, better than I expected and I had high hopes. Imho, it blew Nolan's first Batman movie out of the water. I'll definitely be seeing it multiple more times... basically if you haven't seen it yet, you need to leave your house immediately and drive to a movie theater. 
And I just have to say, even though it's been harped on a lot already, Heath's joker was amazing.... He was chilling and funny in a dark sort of way (the best kind of humor). But even with him being so incredible, he didn't overshadow any of the other characters. All of the other actors also had amazing performances. If a handful of Oscar nominations don't get handed out for this movie, I'll be disappointed.

Oh, it will be nominated for a lot of things, I hope. Obviously Heath Ledger will be nominated and will probably win, but there were so many aspects of this movie that went so far beyond his performance alone. It's a good thing, too--it's about time someone made a comic book movie that's gonna get recognized like this one will. XD
Also, observation:
Christopher Nolan handled more than one villain in the same movie SO well. I didn't feel like anyone was less important or got less screen time than he should have. Sam Raimi needs to be taking some detailed notes. XD
