Have a video game or or VG review? This is the place to to discuss it! We also accept discussions of board games and the like, but SHHH! Don't tell anyone, OK?

I used to have a game.

I used to have this old NES game.
I would love to get it again!!

it was liek a collexction game of stuff like Mario, Megaman, and many other great games. Had to be 100+ games.
Also, the selection screen was black with blue and red bricks on the top for each page.

Anyone know what its called?

There used to be a game that was called something like 100-in-1. I used to have a ROM of it, but I haven't used ROMs in forever. XD Not sure if that's the official name, but it's what I remember. XD

A quick google search of "100 in 1" for the NES reveals a page at Everything2.com. It's (obviously) a bootleg/pirated game, the people posting there say that they've seen them in China, Malaysia, and Thailand.

I used to have the game for my old NES. My sister gave it to me, but I'll search it up.
I'll also wiki it.

Oh, and it only really has probably 4 working games, 2 non working ones, and the rest are copies, sometimes with hacks applied to make them easier or harder... I've played these roms before... They're definately pirate games... Hong Kong bootlegs, like Somari or Kart Fighter... Both of which are better than the 100-in-1 carts...

If you use Firefox, look up the "FireNes" add-on. It gives you a load of old games. I'd recommend an inexpensive USB gamepad as well. Playing via keyboard doesn't feel quite right.

yeah. i used to have a game like that but it was for the original gameboy. it was like 81 games in 1 and the cartridge was like abnormally large so it stuck out of the top of the slot where you stick the game into the gameboy. and like over half of the games were totally random japanese/chinese games. but it had some classics too like Double Dragon!

I don't think it's there anymore, Rai. I checked and there's no add-on by that name. (I did, however find one called RedCats that puts cats on your top toolbar --so cute.)

Try this link, then, as it's what I used. It's there, believe me.

FireNes - it's here.

It's in Spanish, but you can have Google translate it. Hit "Instalar FireNes". It does work with Firefox 3.

Here are the controls:
Start = Enter/Return
Select = Control/Ctrl
A = X
B = Z

Again, I would suggest an inexpensive USB controller for the right feel, and use a program like Joy2Key to map the keys to the controller (you can't change FireNes' controls).

Is this legal? This sounds a lot like a ROM...

I installed it to see, but I can't find it. I checked Extensions and it's there, but I can't seem to be able to figure out how to bring it up.

Check your Tools menu - that's where it is for me.
