I have an NES and still play Super Mario Brothers and Duck Hunt. I really wish I had Kirby's Adventure and Trog for the NES, though --those are awesome games.
I also have a Sega Genesis at my mom's house --I have Toy Story, The Lion King, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Pac-Attack (a fun cross between Pacman and Tetris), and Sonic Spinball.
So I'm a big fan of classic games. My view is that I'll keep playing on my old systems until they break --and only then consider buying a new one. I also like the old systems better in some ways (though I do like the Gamecube.) I think the Super Nintendo and N64 were my favorites (Super Mario World and the original Super Smash Brothers were my favorites).
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
"Since the creation of the Internet, the Earth's rotation has been fueled, primarily, by the collective spinning of English teachers in their graves."
