Mantantei Loki Ragnarok

I recently saw the fansub for Mantantei Loki Ragnarok and WOW have I fallen in love with this series.

In short, it revolves around the Norse god of mischief, Loki, who was banished to the human world in the body of a child as punishment for some prank or crime he commited.

I was happy to find that there was little, if any cursing or fanservice here...just an extremely cute anime with character development and plot to boot (yes, I'm a sucker for character development). ^.^; Not sure if anyone else has seen it, though...it seems very obscure.

I don't have access to it, but I'd love to watch it someday. Loki sounds a bit like Goku from Saiyuki (and he's just as cute! ^__^)

Actually, Fenrir (a little black dog, Loki's son, who takes the form of a wolf in mythology) reminds me a lot of Goku. "I WILL NOT LET ANY SUSPICIOUS PEOPLE GET BY...ooo...foood. *.*"

Hmm...o.o I don't think Loki would qualify as a ghost. I think that's Yu Yu Hakusho you're thinking of. ^^; MLR is based mainly on Norse mythology.

I was sort of thinking the banished part, but Fenrir, methinks is more accurate.

Uhm...xD I'm pretty sure 'tantei' is detective, but I'm too lazy to go check that one for sure. ^.^;
