Princess Princess

One of my friends wanted me to watch this series called Princess Princess and let me borrow it (well, she and her roommate were just like "watch it" and handed it to me as I left their room). I watched the first disk and I must say that though the concept at first made me unsure (guys cross-dressing at an all-guys school to "boost morale"), after watching the first 4 episodes, I must say that this may actually be a good series. It's actually pretty funny and the characters are well-developed and acted.
Has anyone else seen this series? What did you think?

Hey! I just found it on Youtube!

I watched the first part of the first episode, so I can't judge it well, but it looked interesting. How many episodes are there?

Also, I don't think you're supposed to put youtube links on CAA for copyright reasons.

EDIT: I meant youtube links of licensed anime.

NO.

Haha, just kidding. While I REALLY REALLY REALLY LOVE CROSSDRESSING MANGA (it's my favorite ridiculous mediocre manga subgenre), I didn't like Puripuri that much. The suspension of disbelief was a little insane, and it pretty blatantly caters to yaoi fangirls (although... that's not even worth mentioning, considering that's the essence of the series...).

I do prefer the Princess Princess D drama, of which I saw one episode. The reason for my preference is because the drama completely eschews plot (which really got in the way in the series...) and focuses on pretty boys in lovely clothes looking hot. And Kamakari Kenta is so much love.

In short, I think it's a fairly terrible series, but the main character actor in the drama is awesome.

This is definitely outside of my tastes. XD;; Sorry! I have to pass on this one.

There's no Yaoi in this series...I mean, of course, like in a lot of animes, fanfics will abound that are, but this series is pretty clean. The guys aren't in relationships with each other. One of the main characters has a girlfriend. There's no nudity. There isn't even very much cursing at all.
I was just wondering what you guys thought about it since my friends pretty much shoved it on me and told me to watch it. My final judgment is that while it's definitely not one of the best series out there, it's cute, clean, hilarious, and short --which makes it a great casual anime to watch. I'd give it a B or B- .

P.S. I didn't know about the Youtube links...can a mod take that link off, please?
