Very good film. I am also glad to see it is doing well in the box office. Now if only they can do Gambit right in this upcoming Wolverine flick...

We saw Iron Man on Friday and I completely geeked out on it… I truly loved it. I am a huge XMen fan and enjoyed the 3 “Xâ€

I just saw this movie last night and it was amazing. I rank it as the third greatest superhero movie, behind only Spidey 2 and Batman Begins.

Hey, I love Deadpool....but Gambit fans have gone through more crap then anyone in the comic world. We were told he would be in 1,2, and 3. Of course, each time we got a nice crap reason why it did not happen....So yeah. He needs to be done right. I would also like to see them do Rogue right. Since the X-Men trilogy did her wrong in every way possible.

I was very happy with the movie. Perhaps the best of the recent Marvel offerings.

The bad guys were a little too easy to read, which was kind of a shame. It took no real insight to figure out Obadiah was the bad guy from the first moment he appears on screen, but that's OK.

I just liked the fact that the hero was allowed to be a hero with out having all kinds of moral ambiguity and/or angst about doing the "right thing." It was kind of refreshing.

Well, I heard this morning that it was announced by Marvel Studios there would be an Iron Man sequel, as well as Thor, Captain America and the Avengers, all for release in 2010 - 2011... Score!

I liked it. His "to heck with it" attitude made it, of course. Didn't care about the comic booky stuff. It was his "Screw the rules, i have money" that made me like it. I mean, the last scene before the credits... that was my favorite moment in any comic book movie. Let it be known that I liked all 3 spiderman movies, especially 2. I also loved Batman Begins and am waiting anxiously for Dark Knight... I just need some money... Or a ride to the Regency, because I have a free movie pass there.

YES. Thank you. This movie is way better than the Spiderman movies.

I just got back from seeing it. Wow. It blew my fricking face off. I did not expect it to be so good! Everyone said it was, but I've been hesitant to trust people when it comes to movies. Maybe I should rethink that a little. XD

Anyway, wow. Tony Stark was awesome. Yeah, he was kind of a jerk at first, but that's what makes him so cool. If they make another one (which it looks like they will), I hope it's as good as or better than this one. This is how you do comic book movies. (Well, this and Batman Begins.)

I saw it earlier in the week, and actually, I just thought it was okay. It was a fun movie, don't get me wrong, but I think I had heard so much hype from the internet, friends online and offline, and even my teachers that my expectations for it were too high. XD It was good, though, and I'd see it a second time.

It was a fun movie and I did enjoy it the two times I saw it but

Yeah, even if you don't know who Obadiah Stane is it's pretty obvious.

I didn't.
Iron Man was one of the very few Marvel franchises I never got into as a kid.
Trust me, one of the VERY few.

I was a marvel head.
Never liked DC much.

Iron Man DVD release date

[quote="ICv2"]According to The Hollywood Reporter Paramount Home Entertainment will release Marvel Studios’ Iron Man movie on DVD and Blu-Ray on September 30th. With a domestic theatrical gross of $315 million Iron Man remains the #2 release of 2008 so far trailing only The Dark Knight, and its release just one day before the start of the fourth quarter, will likely make it the first of up to 18 big theatrical movies that will hit the market during Q4. As the first huge hit of the year to come out on DVD Paramount and Marvel are hoping that Iron Man will display the kind of “legsâ€
