I wish Mountain Dew could be a full meal.

Granted; now Mountain Dew functions the same as the three-course meal gum in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory... so anyone who drinks it eventually turns into a blueberry.

I wish these people would turn into strawberries instead.

Granted, but they are faced with many lawsuits and shut down because children are sucked up tubes, turned into blueberries, get slid down garbage chutes, and shrunk. Mr. Wonka is now out of business and the Oompa Loompas must go back to their country...

I wish the Ooompa Loompas would be accepted in our society...

Granted, but they also made a civilization-destroying killer virus based on lasagna, and now anyone who comes into contact with any Gainax product contracts lasagna and dies, and then everybody they know dies, and so on and so forth until the entire world is ruled by the 4Kids empire, the only surviving organizational force on the planet.

I wish that the 4Kids empire would be destroyed by the living mutant Chernobyl radishes.

Granted, but "Speed Racer in theaters" is a different movie, about a kid who thinks he's speed racer and it's about how he burns monkeys in theaters. It's a horrible, horrible movie, but you get to see it.

Granted, you just jumped out of a plane at high altitude, and your parachute turned out to be green. Of course, it also turned out to have large holes in it, making it useless as a parachute, especially in today's financial world, where the dollar has been becoming more and more devalued.
