Where are they?

Postby Neurotic » Mon Apr 21, 2008 1:13 pm

I'm looking for an anime or manga that is actually pro-Christian in nature, or (even better) made by an actual Christian.
The problem is, I can't find any. Sure, I could find something wholesome, like Yotsuba&! or any of Kei Toume's work, but I haven't seen anything that actually expresses my beliefs on the shelf of stores.
If you can find any, by all means tell me what they are! After all, I can listen to Christian music, read Christian books, even play Christian games; Anime would be better in my eyes if I had an alternative for that, as well.
I'm not worth anything, in case you were wondering.

Well, if you want Christian anime, you're going to have to make it yourself, or wait for some other Americans to do it. You must realize that only about 1% of Japan is Christian, so the chances of a Christian series coming from Japan are one in a million.

Christian manga, however, can be found online. Definitely check out the link that RidleyofZebes posted.

But the Next site has caught my attention the most; I will se what I can do to contribute.

As far as professional series, there are really only a few answers. For anime, look up Superbook and Flying House. For manga, look up Manga Messiah. There may be a few others, but as has been said, Japan is predominantly secular.
