XD If Tifa had sense (no offense) she should've told Marlene to hide, in my opinion. Despite being able to fight--I mean--think about it. Some weird and totally random (yet good-looking) guy, busts into wherever you are, asking "Wanna play?"
Plus, she had time to give him a TKO while he was on his phone! But no, let's just stand and smile. She was being way too polite and really took his 'wanna play' too literally.

It's the classical transforming magical girl weakness. They have to change their clothes in order to satisfy their vanity and sense of fashionable justice. Then they have to twirl around in their own little world for a moment in order to distract themselves from the fact that they're basically stripping in public and then dressing themselves again. Their enemies, however, are typically just so bewildered by this insane behaviour that they fail to notice that a well-placed bullet or two could take these girls down while they're busy spinning around half-dressed and oblivious.

I think anime characters who give names to their punches and kicks do it for the lulz, and to parody anime in general, XD.

And Sailor Star Healer has Star Sensitive Inferno because...uh...the fire...heals people...because...they're like purifying flames...yeah. YEAH!

True. If I were a villain about to get annihilated by a preschooler wearing way too much pink whose battle cry is "Crystal Twinkle Bell!", I'd be pretty devastated to. I'd rather be hit by the transgender hero shouting about a uterus.

This is actually much like the misuse of the apostrophe in English today. It doesn't make you look smart, but it annouces to the world "LOOK OUT GUY'S, THIS WORD ENDS WITH AN 'S'!"

Um, Sailor Moon powers are all twinkley, twinkley sugar plummy. Well, some of them. (Not like I hate Sailor Moon ^^').

Figure 17 also uses weapons (this dagger thing) and hand-to-hand combat. Wait--I don't even think Figure 17 uses powers....does it? I haven't read the whole thing, but it doesn't seem so...

Does this fit in the Sailor Moon category XD? I don't think so...

Having seen most of Figure 17, the similarities kinda stop at the whole 'magical girl' part.
