Granted, but in doing so, it gains self-awareness and takes over the world, condemning humanity to life in physically impossible dungeons with stepa on the walls.

I wish I was one of The Monkees

Granted. You get paid a visit from the IRS demanding you to pay taxes or have your house and everything you posses repossesed. S.T.B.Y. dude.

I wish I had some fresh, tasty, beef-flavored ramen right now.

Granted. But then you find out that after you ate it, someone poisoned it and you'll sleep for an eternity, dreaming dark dreams full of ravenous kitty's pulling your hair out. Not only that, but they tie you down and cook up mouth-drooling beef-flavored ramen and taunt you with the smell.

I wish Super Smash Bros. Brawl had more characters than it has now.

Granted, it used to have a Chuck Norris character, until he roundhouse-kicked his way out of the game. Now he's coming to roundhouse kick you, for wishing him into the game in the first place.

I wish that I had a pet shoggoth.

Granted, but now everyday is Wednesday --so you have perpetual hump-days and never see the weekend...,

I wish they put individual washing machines in the dorms...I'd even take a coin operated one (it's hard with a huge basket going to the other end of the hall...).

I wish, if someone ever made a Zelda movie, they would put their all into it and make an epic film like Lord of the Rings or Star Wars. with good character acting and perfect CG.

Granted, but every one of your hours is like a minute to everyone else, thus boring you out of your skull and causing you to turn sadistically EMO in only a matter of regular minutes. Plus you talk so fast that no one can understand you.

I wish I could make the most epic anime-based video game known to mankind that had strong spiritual and biblical value.

I wish I had a photographic memory and could remember all the stuff for my Zoonotic Diseases class by skimming through the textbook...

Granted, but now you can never get that information our of your head and it flashes before your eyes at inconvenient moments for the rest of your life.

I wish I had a fun, high paying, low stress job that involved little physical work, an easy commute, no gross elements, and no risk of being fired.

Granted, but this "job" turns out to be an Internet scam and they steal your life savings...so you have to start again from scratch

I wish I had a Toyota Yaris--one that runs well and has good gas mileage.

I wish that I had thought about framing someone else for Ingemar's death before I shot him.

Granted. You are now Fistíki, the god of Peanuts, capable of inflicting allergic reactions upon those who displease you. Unfortunately, you've only got five followers and your temple is a closet in someone's basement.

I wish Digimon aired on a channel I actually can WATCH

Granted, Digimon now airs on the English Channel, and you can look at pictures of the English Channel. Unfortunately, nobody has yet quite figured out how Digimon is airing on the English Channel.
