Character Ages and Birthdays!

I think it's really cool when someone gives the characters they've created ages and birthdays, don't you? I can list some right now (and the One Piece ones are courtesy of Wikipedia and the manga). Characters who only have ages will not have birthdays listed.

And I just felt like compiling this list. If anyone wants to add more characters from other series, that'd be great.

Amy Rose: Sept. 23, age 12
Miles "Tails" Prower: Oct. 16, age 8
Knuckles the Echidna: Feb. 2, age 16

And that's all I've really got for now that I know for sure...I know I've read some of the ages for Kaleido Star and a few others. I'd need to reference them first though.

According to a hedgehog info site, the longest living hedgehog on record was 16 years old. So shouldn't Sonic be like on his deathbed if he's 15?

Same with Big...most cats only live 14 to 20 years (though the oldest cat was 36), and bats only live to about 20 (so Rogue should be an old woman).

Oh well, at least they got Cream right, since rabbits can live to be 20 (though she should be at least a "teenager" comparatively).

Male bees only live for fifty days. Charmy should be dead about 30 times. Chameleons don't live past 8 years (if that) so Espio should be dead at least once if not twice.

Crocodiles live from 70 to 130 years so Vector is okay though.

I guess the creators are more than likely going by human ages rather than animal ages. Sonic does act like a teenager after all...but still, to think that they would go by animal ages, my gosh. No wonder Amy would be desperate to get Sonic to marry her. XD

I do love how Sonic and co. got younger. XD

For a long time, they actually did advance his age year by year... he was 16 in Sonic Adventure (1999), 18 in SA2... but then he hit 20 years old and I started hearing he was 16 again, haha...

My impression was that a good chunk of characters are generally "ageless," meaning that they only get older if they are truly meant to. If not, then they stay the same for many volumes (episodes, spin-off series, video games, sequels, what-have-you).

I like character birthdays, too. And blood types. And favorite foods. And favorite monkey breed. When it comes to character bios, the more the better, so that the authors can have a consistent conception of the character even if half of this junk never actually shows up in the work.

Speaking of character ages, in Smash Bros. Brawl, Otacon clearly states that the DK in Brawl is the grandson of the DK in the original Donkey Kong games. But he also says it's the same Mario in both games.

Meaning Mario is RIDICULOUSLY OLD.

The first volume of the Cowboy Bebop manga has the birthdays,blood types and Western Zodiac signs of the four major characters.Aside from Faye the oldest is Jet.
And if you go by the fact that Inuyasha was originally published(I believe0
in 1996 that would mean that Kagome was born some time in the early
Fall of 1981.
This is based on the fact that when she is celebrating her 15th birthday it is a school day BUT it is still early in the school year.I would take either
late August or early Septemeber as when she was born.Unless anyone knows anything further.
