But don't y'all ever think that Ryusaki(Or L) is being a little overly analytical? I know he's supposed to be, but really though are there actual people like that?

In Death Note, that's the way people are. If I was in a situation where information held the power of life or death, I probably would be as well.

[SPOILER]Yay! Ryuk gets to eat his apples in peace again! At the moment Light is a bad position(Because he can't kill L even though he's right next to him, this show is still spiraling with twists and turns isn't it!), this is like the first time he cracked so far in the series.[/SPOILER]

Man I can't believe how much I like this show, but does that make me a bad person. I mean we have read Shakespeare who has very violent plays, and theres also the Bible which might be one of the most violent books known to man! But I still don't know, I mean I want to watch this show because its so good and has good symbolism. I just pray none of this will get into my subconscious and wreak havoc causing me to go on a killing rampage!(Haha, just kidding about that last part.) Oh well, Im sure it won't but you never know.

I'd have preferred a little bit more of the subtlety of the Manga in this scene, but then I remebered that nothing is subtle in Death Note. People can't even be inconspicuous without drawing attention to themselves.

Now that I think about it, L was always going off about "He acts too perfect...something isn't right...there's no proof at all that he's Kira and that's proof enough!"

It makes me wonder if Light had acted like a freak and said "I WILL KILL PEOPLE BY WRITING THEIR NAMES IN THIS MAGIC NOTEBOOK!" when the cameras/wire taps were there if L would've left him alone...

Man, I wish Deathnote would have aired last night, but because of the last futurama marathon it didn't. Im going to start going through withdrawals! I would read the manga, but Im short on cash(As always.). So hopefully I'll be able to keep myself sane untill next saturday in hopes that I won't become like Light and go on killing raides!

30 reruns are apparently better than one new episode.

Yeah, but those reruns get better ratings then a new ep of Death Note.

Plus this is the last time that Futurama will be on Adult Swim. Also, it wouldn't have matter anyway, Adult Swim always runs marathons from the starting from Christmas to New years eve and then just throw whatever on New years day anyway.

So Death Note and Blood + wouldn't have been showed anyway this week.

They're putting episodes out at a fairly fast rate anyway. I can understand wanting to see the continuation of the plot, though.

I just started death note a couple days ago, and I'm hooked... On 14 now, not quite halfway through... Man... It's just incredible... Seriously... So twisted and so intense... I love every minute of it!

Okay, I've been starting my collection of the Death Note DVD's (pretty cool extras, BTW, especially the "L" Keychain. Many a times I've always wanted my own portable keychain with a LED that projects an "L" in Times New Roman script. Thanks Vis Media! ;)) and I have to say, I didn't know exactly what you guys were talking about when you said Ryuk was funny, but now I get it! Get rid of his apples, and watch the fun begin.

I did find myself rewinding to the "chip" montage on episode 8. "I'll take a chip...AND EAT IT!!!" Now, I can see the PEN making sparks when Light writes, but a potato chip? Dang, carbs are no joke. I think they intentionally made this particular episode a little lighter than the others, to give the viewer a break from all the murders.

They did air Death Note this Sat. I posted in the lineup thread, that they moved the times and it would air at 11:30 pm est time in a few days before Christmas.

I'm going to wait and the whole on Adult Swim before I get the dvd's and then maybe wait for a box set.

As of right now, Volume one and Volume two are out. Volume three will be release on Jan 29. Then Volume four will not be release untill March 29.

Yeah, Ive been collecting the dvds for my mom's sake. I do like re-watching the episodes, but its mainly so my mom and dad can watch them. Yes, they do like anime to a certain extent if its interesting enough like Case Closed, FMA, Spiral, DN Angel, Ah! My Goddess, and Death Note.

And I do enjoy seeing behind the scenes into the making of Death Note, which is a special feature on each dvd. The first volume was on Light's dubbed VA, and the second volume was on L's dubbed VA. They are pretty cool. I wonder who the third one is going to be about, hopefully Ryuk or Misa.

I would say Ryuk voice actor will be in the Volume 3, since Ryuk mug shot is going to be the cover art for Volume 3.
