Yeah, I'd been up since 5:00 AM and had gone to sleep at 2 (three hours of sleep). I was pretty much not feeling a show by the time 7:00 PM rolled around.

Tokyo Police Club - A Lesson in Crime

I'm not usually one to buy an album without researching it first in some fashion, but this band I picked up on a whim, having never heard of the band, let alone heard any song by them. But, I mean, the cd has robots on the cover. ROBOTS. And burning buildings. ROBOTS AND BURNING BUILDINGS. = Buy.

All in all, this group is very interesting. They sound like The Killers, but with more punk influences. If you dig The Killers, or just like punk with synthesizers, this is definitely a band to check out.

Yeah, I was there when Everdred bought Tokyo Police Club. It was pretty sweet, 'cos we both had the same idea that robots and burning buildings equal out to an automatic buy.

I also picked up Your New Favourite Band by The Hives while we were there.
