Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro

Has any one else heard about this? I'm not sure how long it's been around, but it's a manga and an anime. It's about a high school girl named Yako who is forced by a demon named Neuro to help him find mysteries so he can solve and... eat them.

I'm rather interested about this one, actually. I've read a little bit about it, and I might read some of the manga as soon as I find some scans. The subject matter seems a little strange, but I'll check it out before I buy it.

I'm assuming you've read/watched it? What'd you think about it? Was it any good?

I've only read the first several chapters and seen the first few episodes So far it's okay, I didn't see anythinng overly offensive. There were some parts I thought were kind of "ew" but it's bearable - for example, some criminals' faces morph a little into monsters' to show their lack of humanity. But it has a lot of funny parts, especially Neuro. If you want I can show you a link to some scans

Heard of Neuro, but after reading some episode reviews I dropped it. Monster of the Week shows have a habit of doing that.

Then again, that's just the Anime. Maybe the Manga is different.

I just watched the first episode of the anime.

:/ It was.... very different, I'll give it that. I had high hopes for it, but it just didn't do it for me.

Does the series get any better after the first episode? I really want to enjoy it, but I just can't seem to get into it.

I've actually heard that the anime is a fairly disappointing adaptation of the manga from several different places.

It was very slow-placed, thats all. I can't stand it when things take forever to move along in an anime.

Ah, well. I suppose I'll continue watching just so I can say I've seen it.

Question, is the manga better than the anime?

I personally think they're both pretty good, although the stories and cases are a little bit different in the manga

I believe the manga has been around for two years and the anime just came out this year. The manga is pretty decent. Neuro's demon form looks really weird. :P
