SUPER cheap DVD's at Right Stuf

Postby Momo-P » Fri Oct 05, 2007 7:39 pm

Just thought I should give the head's up. The Right Stuf is currently putting a ton of DVD's out at amazingly cheap prices

Fruits Basket, Angelic Layer, D.N.Angel, Pretear, Nadia, etc. Some DVD's are even like...4 something a piece! I mean, you got a super awesome deal going here guys, so I just had to say something.

Thanks for the tip! I bought Last Exile vols 1, 3, and 4 there this afternoon (I have vol 2 already). I'm happy with all my might!

From everyone I've heard of, Right Stuf is A-OK. It's even common to see someone link to it when refering to a DVD or another piece of merchandise. ^_-

NO! Don't order from rightstuf.com! It will cause certain doom to mankind, such as global warming, child learning problems, and rabbid Fruits Basket fangirls! (In other words: OH NOES! My secret is out! Now all the specials I haven't ordered will sell out!)

Seriously though, yeah, rightstuf rocks. (That's why I have so much anime. They have Saiyuki for $3.99 a DVD!) They even license anime, so yeah, I'd say they are reputable. The packaging for shipping is great, too. (and free if you spend $50) Rightstuf.com=best anime store EVER!

Yeah, Rightstuf is fine and a reliable place to order from.

I'll also take this moment to point out that several Geneon series are currently cheap there as well. I see Last Exile, Gatekeepers/GK21, Haibane Renmei, Fighting Spirit... probably some others, I didn't check thoroughly.

Any idea on how long this will last? I'd love to take advantage of it, but I don't have the funds for it right now. XD But Haibane Renmei DVDs for $8.99 a piece? Yes, please.

Sadly I'm not sure. I can't find any cut off date, it almost looks like whatever goes in the bargain bin, stays in the bargain bin. The only discount stuff I can find a cut off date for are the weekly and day specials.

Yeah, DVDs/manga/etc. usually stay in the bargain bin untill they sell out. But once they do sell out, they're gone for good. If you don't have the funds to buy anything right away, than check how many DVDs they have in stock, that way you'll know when an item sells out.

A lot of the bargain bin stuff has a "Quantity Remaining" number under the price. Doesn't look like Haibane Renmei will sell out anytime soon, with each dvd having 700 or 800 in stock.

I love right stuf. I generally wait to buy my anime until there's a thin pack of the series, and THEN I wait until Rightstuf has one of their "40% off all DVDs by xxx company" sales. I've purchased an entire series for under 30 bucks. How stinkin' awesome is that?
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

Yeah, the problem with stuff like Right Stuf's Bargain Bin and Animenation's Pre-Owned Catalog is that you really have to order what you want right away most of the time or else you may be sorry.Because of the low prices they go fast, generally.I got vol.3 & 4 of Dual from
Rightstuf and have the first three volumes of Wedding Peach on order from their Bargain Bin(3.99 per each)as well.

they don't, like... have an on-the-ground store? I'd love to get into that.

Right now, I'm just buying random $3 dvds at Big Lots.
