- Abraham Kuyper

"God the great Creator of all things doth uphold, direct, dispose, and govern all creatures, actions, and things, from the greatest even to the least, by His most wise and holy providence, according to His infallible foreknowledge and the free and immutable counsel of His own will, to the praise of the glory of His wisdom, power, justice, goodness, and mercy."
- Westminister Confession of Faith (Chapter 5, Section 1)

"The wisdom of God has found a way for the love of God to deliver sinners from the wrath of God all the while upholding the righteousness of God!!"
- John Piper

"Grace is the pleasure of God to magnify the worth of God by giving sinners the right and power to delight in God without obscuring the glory of God!"
-John Piper

"The very One from Whom we need to be saved, is the One Who has saved us."
- R.C. Sproul

"All of Christian life is ceaseless worship of God the Father, through the mediatorship of God the Son, by the indwelling power of God the Spirit, doing what God commands in Scripture, not doing what God forbids in Scripture, in culturally contextualized ways, for the furtherance of the Gospel, when both gathered for adoration, and scattered for action, in joyous response to God's glorious grace."
- Mark Driscoll

"Believers do not pray with the view of informing God about things unknown to Him, or of exciting Him to do His duty, or of urging Him as though He were reluctant. On the contrary, they pray in order that they may arouse themselves to seek Him, that they may exercise their faith in meditating on His promises, that they may relieve themselves from their anxieties by pouring them into His bosom; in a word, that they may declare that from Him alone they hope and expect, both for themselves and for others, all good things."
- Martin Luther

"I have to tell you first that I am ready to die. I have put my affairs in order. Your supreme weapon is killing. My supreme weapon is dying, because when you kill me, people all over Romania will read my books and believe on the God that I preach - even more than they do now."
- Dr. Joseph Ton, the exiled Romanian pastor (quoted by James Montgomery Boice)

"The best prayer I ever prayed had enough sin in it to condemn the whole world."
- John Bunyan

Hey i just finished watching all 26 episodes. Awesome anime! No nudity and very little sexual content. The manga is loaded with it but the anime is clean! It's pretty much just a romance so if your interested in that kind of thing it rules! I loved it and am sad it's over because they probably wont make another season.

THEM seemed to think that there was a very fair amount of fanservice in the show, saying: "The amount of fanservice increases over the show's timeline, with later episodes causing bulging eyes from the sheer quantity of it. Definitely for those older than 13."
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

It depends probably on the definition of fanservice one uses.

I thought it actually had less fanservice as the show went on. The first episode was the worst and it actually wasn't that bad. I don't know, maybe I'm too soft on my judgement?

I just went and looked up the anime to have a look. It seems to be a typical boy-girl romance/comedy of errors. Having the female lead be a high-jump athelete is kind of a nice twist to the story. The nudity (and yes there is nudity in the first episode) is limited by proper hair arrangement and cropping. This series is probably aimed at teens, especially considering the high school setting.

I'm not big on this type of story, so I didn't watch much more of it to be able to comment on the rest of the series.

I take it this is a normal boy meets girl type of show and not one where the boy has some deep dark secret like he's really an alien or the girl's actually a robot or something else wierd like that.

As far as I could tell, yes. The boy is a "typical high school boy" type - the same kind of lead male as seen in series like Ah! My Goddess and the like. Likeable, short dark hair, thoughtful but clumsy and prone to screwing up without intending to. He was (like in many series) the last picked from the waiting list for his new high school.

The lead girl is a high-jump athlete going to his high school because she was scouted for her athletic ability. There are expectations on her that she'll become an Olympic athlete for Japan.

The other characters (the boy's relatives, the classmates, etc) are fairly staple characters.

Yeah it was hard for me to get into at first because it did seem quite unoriginal. But I gave it a chance and I ended up being able to connect to the characters quite well and I did end up enjoying it. I'm not really a huge fan of that genre either but this one was good. I guess you have to be into that kind of thing though. Thanks for the comments.

Fanservice occasionally happens in the manga.
