This is an interesting Welcome Area thread. Welcome (to you and your 143 posts).

But was this intended to be elsewhere?

Yes, maybe this thread's supposed to be somewhere else ^^

I used to like Youko Kurama (I have a thing for kitsune demons), before really liking Hiei (especially in the last volumes) and Youko Yusuke (*drools*). Then there's Karasu (who I would like more if he wasn't so touchy-feely with Kurama) and that bishonen who uses dice as weapons in the later volumes (I forgot his name! *sob*).

In conclusion, I realize I don't have a 'favorite'. I love all them bishonen!! XD Togashi is one of my top favorite bishonen artists XD XD

I always liked Kuwabara...he was funny... Not to mention he likes cats...can't go wrong with a guy who likes cats...:thumb: LOL

And yes, I reckon this should be in the anime forum.

I just realized - Ink uses "reckon" a lot. *haha* I think your Texan is showing.

Anyways, not to go too off topic, I love Yu Yu Hakusho, and just recently became a fan. I really love Hiei <-- don't know how to spell his name. He's just so cute and short, and is a dragon. I love the dragon ones.

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

I'd generally go for Hiei, as he's a swordsman and I like his character design. Kurama is far nicer of a person however, and I've gotten to like him in the manga.

I love this show! My favorite all time charecter that was on the show was Jin, The WindMaster. He's got those cute little ears and since I'm Irish I just adore his accent. He allways seems to be in a good mood!

Yes, Jin is completely adorable!

Also, don't kill me but I love Kurama to death, and as for Laruda (who's still somewhat confused on site navigation), it's KuwabarakuwabarakuwabarakuwabarakuwabarakuwabaraSKITTLES!

Um, maybe Im alone, but I dont really care for this anime. I guess I am just kind of board with the whole "fighting" genra. Its always about fighting the next stronger enemy, and perfecting the new ausome tech that saves the day. The climaxes seam weak and the story, never very deep. Perhaps the fact that it also reminds me of Dragonball Z kind of urks me a little.

(please excuse the spelling)

Urameshi = Eternal optimist, main hero, leader (people look to for help) = very Goku-ish

Kuwabara= Bumbling fool, loudmouth, bad hair, likes small pets, just gets lucky = Hurcule with some power

Eie = Arrogant, proud, hates Urameshi = Very Vegita

FlowerGuy = This one is debateable.

Also the idea that "otherworld" plays an important role in both is just another simmilarity. Sure all the moves are differant, and the characters have new identitys, but its still just feels the same for me. Not that fun.
Depend on it. God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply. He is too wise a God to frustrate His purposes for lack of funds, and He can just as easily supply them ahead of time as afterwards, and He much prefers doing so.
- J. Hudson Taylor
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach. He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

kaji, probably your judging the whole show with the first two seasons! you should try to see the next seasons (on dvd or vhs) and you'll see that it's actually quite a masterpiece...

You are most likely correct. I was so unimpressed about what I saw of the searies that I have given little thought to persueing later seasons. Do you have any spacific recomendations that would turn my perspective around?

I would like to know.
