how can a person be a good infulence?

i have this freind she's in into alot of not good things, and 3 months ago she was into going to church, of course that is what her mother is telling me, i haven t bumped into with her for a few years, and i dont know what she is like anymore we where 10 since the last time we hung out, this is besides the point, my mom doesn't want me hanging around her daughter because my mom might think that the girl could get me into serious trouble. so i will take my mothers advice and not help this person, even though something inside of me is saying " go and do it" this girl does drugs and i dont need to be around it, plus she is a young mother and doesnt see her child half of the time. so how would i be a good infulence on this person?

Prayer. Even if you don't hang out with her, pray for her. That's the best kind of help you can give.

These people can be a bad influence, so for your own safety you should abide by what your mother tells you. Unfortunately, along with K-chan, the only advice we can give is to stay back and pray that God enters their life again.
