I can understand not being allowed to use Legendaries, but I find nothing wrong in using two of the same Pokemon. I mean, let's say I wanted to use three Wobbuffets, what's wrong with that? Perfectly legitimate strategy.

The problem with three is that official pokemon tournaments don't allow duplicate pokemon.
Slater wrote:Right. The duplicate pokemon thing is just sorta standard-ish, at least when I play against other friends.
As for the Self Destruct rule, that's a Pokemon Stadium standard... The game automatically declares your opponent the victor if you use Self Destruct with your final pokemon.
Just for some clarification tho... Feel free to use Self Destruct and Explosion in the tournament. No moves are banned, it's just that those moves have certain Pokemon-official conditions linked to them. Pokemon Diamond/Pearl probably already handles those exceptions, anyhow.

Anyway, my code is 2277 3181 4090.
