One Piece
OK, maybe I'm being naive. I like One Piece, but there are the devil fruit and I don't want to be involved with satanic things or devil/occult/demon related stuff. Does that mean I should stay away from One Piece? I do realize that this may simply be a result of my imagination acting up or me making a fool of myself...
Being a Christian makes me a different otaku; Being an otaku doesn't make me a different Christian!

Well, I wouldn't be so quick to insult you for being foolish, but I do feel that any fears over the Devil Fruit of One Piece are misplaced. The manga overall has almost no occult connection, even in supernatural energy.
Also, the Devil Fruit plays basically no role in the manga (other than Luffy's ever present abilities). Had the name been changed to "Super Fruit" nothing would change, nor would it make any difference. In my mind, this makes it not occult in the slightest.

Yes, UC is absolutely correct. The name of the devil fruit in and of itself has no bearing on the story whatsoever, at least, not in what I've read. So you have nothing to fear from that.
