I just hope that they get some really good voice actors for those guys. Cloud, Sephy, I don't think their voice will change, but Zidane and Kuja.
Anyways, it's on the PSP because they like mobile games over in Japan. So they're caturing to their audience that way...Though, I wouldn't mind seeing a PS2 *so so wishful* release, but it'll probably go to the PS3 if so.
But I don't expect to see it at all until late this year or early 2008. XD They wouldn't wanna give too much competition to 13 & 13 Verses

Thank you for the link. I have two immediate and mostly irrelevant thoughts:
1) The beginning was slow enough to remind me of 2001: A Space Odyssey.
2) There is apparently an unwritten rule that no FF trailer can exist without a shot of Sephiroth standing in a bunch of flames.
He also sounds a bit female for his gender.

Yup, Zidane sounds young. That's Japan for ya.
I have almost zero doubt that they will find a deeper voiced voice actor for Zidane. I just hope they get the right voice for Kuja. XP
I think it's crap that they make you buy a lame PSP to play the game of the year.
While I think it's lame... I MIGHT get a PSP for it. Else, I'll live without one.

Zidane's voice is the same as that of the voice actor of the Japanese Naruto, isn't it?
Also, just to add some information, Kuja's voice is done by Akira Ishida. I thought it was cool he did the voice of Zexion in Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix.

Wow, Kuja sounds exactly like Zexion. That'll take a little getting used to.
Anyway, I never would have thought before now that Squall would stand a chance against Sephiroth like that.
I am SO excited about this game. But I've heard it's only half-finished so far.

I'll be sure to get this Final Fantasty ga me once I get a PSP.
Now if only thy could either remake FF 7, 8 and 9. Or make main FF game withevery character from FF 4,7,8,9, 10, and so on. That would be the ultimate Final Fantasy rpg. Of course it would be kinda hard to make but it still would be cool. Excuse my random rant. Just typing my thought on the subject.

I have mixed fellings about this. I don't have,nor do I want,a PSP. However,I LOVE Final Fantasy,as well as SSB-type fighting games.

This trailer has one redeeming characteristic: it promises story. I like story. I doubt I'll have the opportunity to play the game, given that it's on the PSP, but I will at least be interested, no matter how much of a cash-cow it may be.

Well, maybe I will pick this up. I bought a PSP last month because it makes for the absolute best portable media device bar none when interfaced with a PS3, and good internet connection, and remote play.
I don't really have any games for it yet, because that's not why I bought it, but hey ... y'know ... might as well take advantage of what I have.

I will defidently read some reviews before buying this. I hope Square stops its trend regarding main characters with NO personality at all. *Oh, they got some, but Vaan/Tidus are their more recent attempts.*

So! Dissidia is out in Japan now! There are videos on YouTube! They are awesome! And Dissidia is coming to America in the middle of next year! It's rumored that it will be July 12, I believe, since that is the date that the first Final Fantasy came to America. What makes that likely is that Dissidia came out in Japan on the day the first Final Fantasy came out in Japan.
Isn't this exciting?! I can't wait (with some trepidation) to see what English voice actors they'll pick!

Hopefully good ones. I wouldn't mind Steve Burton as Cloud again. The game's soundtrack sounds epic and the graphics like very well done though the look like graphics from a Kingdom Hearts game. XD
