Whose Line Is It Anyway?

Postby ilikegir33 » Sat Jun 09, 2007 7:06 pm

Have you seen this show? It is THE funniest improv show of all improv shows. You can see it on ABC Family @ 10PM Eastern/9PM Central. Drew Carey is the host and there are four guys (three being standbys, one changing each show). Each sketch on the show is improv. My personal fave types are "Party Quirks" and "Greatest Hits" as well as the Irish drinking songs. This show is so funny and clean too.

There's an ABC Family edit.
That version is a little cleaner I believe.

Another of these? That is alright. It is a humorous show and it has been some time since the last thread.

My favorite standard members are Ryan and Collin (Collin would probably win if you forced the question, for some of his lengthy ridiculous puns). My favorite guest is Greg. I wish Drew would stay behind the desk the entire time.

As for the games, I tend to like the ones with prompts that allow for more random creativity ("Scenes from a Hat" or "World's Worst Step" are the ones that come to mind).

Ryan and Collin pretty much made the show, with special props to Wayne for his unique musical talents. I'd say Greg and Brad rank equally as the best guests, as they're both entertaining in different ways. Worst guests would have to be any and all of the women, with the possible exception of Danny. How Kathy even got on that show is a bizarre mystery to me.

Dude!( and dudettes) you are talking about my favorite show! WL is the greatest! Probably one of the best episodes that aired the other night featured Robin Williams as the guest! It was so great!

Ryan and Collin are the best. Although, Ryan's sense of humor is more my style. Either way, I love that show to death.

Brad is my favorite guest out of all of 'em.

Colin is definitely my favorite, followed by Wayne.

Collin and Ryan were amazing. I especially loved when they used props or did the speaking in questions, song titles, or letter of the alphabet. Are there any on-line sites to watch more? I miss that show..

Yes... my goodness I couldn't imagine what that would be like to be in audience watching that...

Poor Colin and his Canadian/bald jokes^^ He's awsome though, along with Ryan. There's so awsome at improving songs though I can't imagine where they get their ideas in a split second >_< I was always a planner aheader in acting class^^

What has to by my favorite Collin pun, roughly paraphrased:
"In other recent news, a group of monks staged a protest on the lawn of the Playboy mansion. They sold flowers to everyone who approached them and could not be moved by security or anyone else. Finally Hefner himself came out; he spoke to the monks for a while and they quietly left. The moral of the story is that only Hugh can prevent florist friars."
