I would love to be Snorlax! Especially after he goes to live with Professor Oak! I love the fact that he runs up and tackleglomps random people!

Darn, that leaves mew out...

I'd be a Wiggly Tuff... Because they are deceptively fluffy, but dangerous... A team of wigglytuffs can be deadly, because they learn almost as well as Mew...

Another one is magikarp... Level it to like 70, and fight your low leveled friends, and beat them with a magikarp (after it learns some attacks, only if you keep it from evolving) or a Kakuna or the other cocoon pokemon... I'm all about the ironic fights...

Hoooohhh man, I would want to be an Arcanine. Well, I'd actually more want to have one, because you can ride on it and junk, but I would most want to be an Arcanine, because they's cool. :d

Don't know much about Pokemon, do ya? :p

Magikarp only can ever know three moves: Splash (does nothing), Tackle, and Flail. It can't learn any TM or HM moves and can't learn any moves via breeding. Also even at level 70 Magikarp's base stats are atrocious, the only decent one being Speed (at 80) and Defense (at 55). It's Special Defense is a mere 20, meaning a single Thundershock will more than likely take it out in one hit (doubly so since its base HP is only 20), and Tackle being such a weak move will be hard-pressed to do ANYTHING remotely resembling damaging since its base attack stat is a pathetic 10, the second lowest of any Pokemon (second only to Shuckle).

The only way you could beat anyone with a Magikarp is if you were about fifty levels higher than them, and even so that would only be due to the vast difference in levels, not because of Magikarp's merit.

By the way, Kakuna and Metapod are pretty much the same, not learning any moves naturally except for "Harden" and are unable to learn any TM moves (you can give Caterpie and Weedle moves via breeding though). So that's still unlikely but possible.

I was always a huge Eevee fan (along with it's elemental evolutions^^) For a while there my absolute fav was Espeon from the 2nd gen. Although... it would be nice if Pokemon (like Digimon) could evolve back and go into different evo chains^^ That would be awsome...

My favorite pokemon was always Venusaur, so off the top of my head, I guess that would be my answer.

The question merits further thought, however.
