So, should I go for it and get Neon Horse or are the two songs on their Purevolume the best ones?

Neon Horse is righteous. Get it. Cuckoo is one of my favorites, but it's not the best. That record just rules.

Double agreed. It's my favorite album of the year.

Yeah, the new Chariot record is still my favorite to come out this year, but boy is Neon Horse a whole ton of fun. Do you think the Martins are involved in it somehow, what with the shadiness surrounding the band's identity? I hear those guitar tones and just think "Starflyer."

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Jason is on guitars. And Mark Solomon from Stavesacre is one of the vocals.

Also, just got Mars Ill's Pirate Radio, Sound Methods 2.0 and Backwaterprophets.

I thought about Mark Salomon as well. I'd say that the weird reggae voice that comes on occasionally is someone else, but it blends with the other voice (like on Cuckoo where the voice changes just about in mid-word.)

Anyone else in the band is fair game, though. Those are the only two I'm almost positive about.

"Minutes to Midnight" - Linkin Park

I bought it the day it came out. I was disappointed. It's grown on me a lot since, but I still don't think it's as good as their other albums.

I have a humorous inside joke regarding "Oh, Sleeper!"

Is that DVD as good as "One Last Song?"

Do tell the joke. (if u have to message me that's fine.) I'll let you know about the DVD when it arrives. It sounds pretty good. Tour footage, commentary, interviews, bonus short films, etc

It's an inside joke so it won't be funny to you.

A person that works at my bookstore said "a new Death Metal group called Oh, Sleeper is out and we have their EP."

When it arrived, we both came to the conclusion it was indeed NOT Death Metal.

And now every time I see this person, I say "Oh, Sleeper....Death Metal...AH-HAH!"

Today I bought Grammatical Revolution by Grits and I tried to buy History from Matthew West, but I was buying form a used book/cd store, and when they were getting the disk ((they only keep the cases out to prevent theft)) they got the wrogn thing, so instead I got Pepe Aguilar's album No Soy de Nadie, too bad I don't speak Spanish. So I'm plannin gon returning that and getting the right disc soon enough.
