Someday the Dream Will End (Final Fantasy X fanfiction)

So I guess fanfiction is allowed here, and I've heard that you can just post links to your story if it's elsewhere. So...here's my first novelisation ever. I finished it about a month ago, but it took me like three years to do, what with all the editing. My writing's pretty horrible for the majority of it, but I'd be pleased if someone read it and told me what they thought. Since I only allow signed reviews with my account on FanFiction.net, if you don't want to register there you could tell me what you think here. So...yeah.

Someday the Dream Will End

(If your name is Esoteric or bigsleepj, then don't expect this to be of the same caliber of writing as "Labyrinth". Or even the same type of writing. After all, I only finished that story today.)
You can find out things about the past that you never knew. And from what you've learned, you may see some things differently in the present. You're the one that changes. Not the past.

"There's a difference between maliciously offending somebody - on purpose - and somebody being offended by...truth. If you're offended by the truth, that's your problem. I have no obligation to not offend you if I'm speaking the truth. The truth is supposed to offend you; that's how you know you don't got it."

It's not too bad, actually. Sadly I'm not familiar very with the FF Universe ...these are from 10, right? Your use of visual adjectives and metaphors is rich, although slightly over done in a few places like (a million infinitesimal pieces). Since I don't know the character's personalities, I can't comment on your renditions, however the later conversations feel...odd. Again, I'm not a very good person to critique this, but I can certainly see the roots of your current writing style.

 Yay Esoteric!

*cough cough* *regains composure*

So how far did you read? Wait, you didn't read the whole thing already?! :wow!: That's FAST!

Yeah, I know, I overdid it in some places and underdid it in others, but I learned a lot while writing it. I guess that's the important part, right?

Um...you could see the roots of my current writing style? Like what? I can't even see it myself. (off-topic: I'm using this smiley waaay too much!)

P.S. And yes, it is of number 10. Hence the X.

hehe, no I only read the first page/chapter. As far as roots, I meant that the pacing and narration were similar to your current works (although I've only read one!). And yes, I'm sure it was excellent practice for you.

Hmm... *ponders personal styles*

I bet I'd be able to recognize your style too, now that I've read some of your work :thumb:
