Actually, he's a Buddhist priest. He doesn't use magic(unless you count his magical papers of doom[the papers with squigglies])

I fully understand and agree with her point of view, though in Miroku's defense, he's just flirting. He needs to learn to only flirt with one girl (Sango), and she would be much happier.
