I hate to break tradition and create a thread like this, but I have certain thoughts that I would really like to formalize, that I don't/can't express well in poems and such. I'm just going to let the thread explain itself, ok?
1. Entry: It's Time To Awake
Well, I've been going through my old poetry, trying to find worthy pieces to post in my other thread (The one most people know me from) and listening to Copeland.
I swear, Copeland's "Eat, Sleep, Repeat" is so conductive to my poetry; it just helps my thoughts flow. I think every poem I just posted in Caphony was inspired or helped along by ideas or songs from this album...it's cathartic in a quiet way, you know.
I'd like to explain what I'm currently feeling, even if it seems abit...well, I don't know. I won't judge myself, I suppose, I do that too much already.
I feel like I am standing on a mountain peak in wintertime as the snow-flakes fall around me. I feel like I'm reaching out for a mirage on that mountain, like wearing a crisp white shirt and staring out into the oblivion that is the winter mountain, afire with light reflected off the snow. It is fresh, it is cool, it is the Clean Mountain. But it is empty of color...it is empty of love. It's refreshing, but at the same time....It's lonely. I wish I could find a place that had elements of the Hurricane I usually dwell in and this Clean Mountain, but that may be wishful thinking.
Anyway, this is an interactive deal, so feel free to ask me questions, give your opinions on my style of writing, and other such things.
