Which anime Characters are Christian?

^^ Cam Clarke. He doesn't do a whole lot of anime (actually, the only one I can think of is Robotech...unless you count RPGs, which he tends to get cast in), but he's a really good voice actor in original American shows.

Considering her best friend is a Shinto priestess, she has been shown praying at that Shinto shrine, and she sleeps with Mamoru when they're not married, I'd say odds are she's Shinto or non-religious like most people in Japan. There is zero evidence of Usagi's religious beliefs in the manga. You might as well say she's a Hinduist, there's nothing to contradict it.

Considering she portrayed the Messiah was a human female, her beliefs in reincarnation (which is anti-Christian), and her views on the afterlife expressed in the manga, it's obvious she at least was not Christian when she wrote Sailor Moon. Also, according to a fan website:

"The report that she is Christian, is most likely false. She was officially married in a Shinto shrine."

As for Haruka, her homosexuality combined with her views on life point her to be staunchly non-Christian. By views on life I mean her willingness to kill anyone, even the woman she loves, to achieve her goal, her refusal to believe in redemption for people, and even rebelling against her queen. Homosexuality aside, these beliefs aren't particularly compatible with Christianity.

As Morwen said, the cross is a fashion symbol. Ever seen kids in America wearing Yin-Yang symbols? Do you think those kids are Chinese philosophers? No, they just think it looks cool. To Japan the cross is a symbol that just "looks cool" and hardly ever (if ever) has Christian significance attached to it.

Seems to me a bit too much jumping to conclusions have been going on here.
The general rule of thumb should be unless the manga-ka themselves personally and publicly talks about their religion/politics take anything that anyone else may say with a grain of salt,since all it is is hearsay.The same should be said about their characters.Unless it is publicly noted in a series or interview that a character is a Christian then we shouldn't guess.Too many times presumption leads to
the making of fools.

- Sailor Moon Has A Sword and can Now Emulate her Enemies Attacks{just by touching them}
- The Silvercrystal has another purpous,It can be used to Power Up Weapons and Abilities.
- Darien is Now the Keeper of the Golden Crystal,but this isn't revieled until much later in the series.
- The Amazon Trio doesn't exist,Instead in their Place are the Amazoness Quartet..who later are transformed into adults by Nehelenia.
- Zoisite is a guy and Zirconia is a woman.
- Neptune and Uranus are Best Friends.
- Most Peronalities Remain. although Raye is a conservative who hates the U.N.
- Major Storyline and Minor Backstory Changes.
- Heroes Don't Die in the Battle with Metallia,but the battle with Chaos. All the heroes die except Moon,Minimoon,Pluto,and Tuxedomask. Minimoon uses her Crystal to ressurect the dead heroes.
- Alan,Fiore,and Ann are Good Guys.
- Nephlite does not fall in love with Molly,instead he questions the Dark Kingdom.
- In the End,Metalia absorbs Beryls lifeforce to re-energize herself. Metalia looks like the Blue Beryl from the Anime.
- Serena/Sailor Moon is Christian who asks for God's forgiveness before she kills her enemies.
- The Doom Phantom{aka wiseman}Caused the War Between Nemisis and Earth.Secretly Killed all of the People of Nemisis and Blamed it on the Earthlings.
- Diamond and his People visited earth and were rejected by all earthlings except Neo-Queen Serenity.
- Sailor Saturn Uses her Death Reborn Revolution on Pharaoh 90 but dies. sailormoon sences hotarus death and goes into pharaoh 90's dimention to battle him.
- In the S Finale Moon transforms into Supermoon via the Silver Crystal.
- The Girls are Freshmen at Juuban High,they are in the same homeroom together.....except Raye who goes to a Private High School,Rini who is in her next to final year of Juuban Elementry,Hotaru who is a freshmen at Juuban Jr High.,and the other 3 Outers are Senors at Juuban High.
- Darien attends Infinity University as a freshmen.
- Nehelenia is freed from her Mirror prison after her minons steal the Gold Crystal from Darien aka Tuxedo Mask.
- the Golden Crystal,like the silver one,is at first in the form of 7 crystals.
- Helios is a young Evil Energy Hunter who first appears to give the inner senshi their super power-ups and to keep nehelenia from getting the rainbow crystals. Rini developes a crush on him and vice versa.
- Sailor Mercury Has the Power of Ice as well as water. She starts out with the Ice Bubbles Attack as well as her Bubble Spray.
- Sailor Moon doesn't get any weapon besides the Sword...which gets upgraded with each level.The Silver crystal also upgrades itself when Sailor Moon gains a new transformation.
- the Girls get Eternal Forms via Crest bearing their insignia.
- the 4 sisters of the Dark Moon don't turn good,in fact they each get a 3 shot deal.
- Avery,Katzy,and Birdie all die at prizma's hand. prisma gets killed by Rubius.
- When,wiseman conquers the future and puts queen serenity into eternal sleep,Rini plans to use the silvercrystal to save her mom,but when she gets it,it disappears.Rini than goes back in time to get the silver crystal of the past. however,Wisman plans on using both silver crystals to power up his dark crystal.and when he sences that rini has the silver crystal,he sends his minions back in time to capture her and to get that time's silver crystal.
- Apsu{from the old sailormoon rpg} will be one of the main villians.She will have 2 talking dogs named,Sola and Apollo.
- Tuxedomask never gets kidnapped or brainwashed by the dark kingdom.
- There will be a world wide search for the Rainbow Crystals. Each Rainbow Crystal is hidden in on of the 7 Contanents.
- To help the Sailor Soldiers find the Crystals,Luna and Artemis turn into their human forms.
- When Wiseman Kills Neo-Queen Serenity,Diamond sees the light and turns against him,the same thing happens to the Dark Lady. She sees her mom being killed and realizes that the wiseman decieved her and with the help of her silver crystal,turns back into Rini.
- With the Aid of both silver crystals,Neo Queen Serenity is resurected.
- Some Main Villians Co-Exist. Mainly the Dark Kingdom,Death Busters,and Dark Moon Family. And After the Dark Moon Family is wiped out,The DeadMoon Circus will arrive.

Sailor Moon Fans and Maniacs will NOT be disappointed with this. I can Assure you.

Robin Senna is also Catholic,though I think I may have pointed that out before.And of course the main characters in Trinity Blood are also all Catholic as well.
Rumiko Takahashi's One Pound Gospel includes a character who is a nun.
