Last cd I brought was falling up exit lights.
No one knows what goes on inside of your head
And everything seems to be ok.
And your the same as you've always been (your the same)
If I'd listened, would you have talked to me?

I don't wanna Let You Down,
But I can't even pick up myself.
I only wanted to make you proud,
But I don't think I can do this anymore.

When did this crowded room get so lonely?
And everyone keeps looking at me.
I'm tired (so tired) of faking my life
I'm so tired, I don't wanna feel this way.

I was looking forward to their new release, but I hear that they've gotten a lot softer vocally.. :(

I pre-ordered Haste the Day's new CD/DVD, Pressure the Hinges, which releases on the 20th, and should come with a 7" vinyl.

Yeah, it's "softer" vocally, I guess. It's less screaming, if that's what you mean, but it's still freaking cool. Everdred12a and I both agree that we want belt buckles the size of license plates when we listen to it.

Jimmy Eat World - Self-titled

I got fed up looking for a copy of 'Bleed American' on ebay, so I just got the lesser self-titled version... Same tracks, but not as cool a name.

I recently picked up a handful of classical music CDs, including Bruckner's masses 2 and 3 and Te Deum (excellent sacred music written by a devout Christian composer), Dvorak's symphonies 7 and 8, and a collection of overtures by Mendelssohn.

I also ordered the soundtracks to FFVI and Berserk (which has horrible opening and ending songs but some great incidental music).

Te Deum - was it John Rutter? Arvo Part? Great choices. I love Dvorak's musicality.

Thanks. The Te Deum was by Bruckner--it was on the same CD set as his two masses. I guess I should have phrased that more clearly.

No problem. I've only heard instrumental pieces by Bruckner, but what I've heard was excellent.

I spontaneously decided to buy The Everglow Special Edition (Mae) today. :D I never had a real copy of the first version (just a burned one), so I figured I'd go ahead and buy the SE with the DVD and two extra songs. XD
