I still think it would be fun if Naraku was voiced by a Christian, for some reason we seem to make the best villians.

You might right Mitsukilover, Since I have never heard Steve Blum Profess his faith in any interview I've seen. And I think you were right about Michael Dobson as a christian.

Nope. If memory serves, he works for ADV Films. Though I'm not sure if it's exclusive or not.

Agnostic:Colleen Clickenbeard
Buddhist:Sean Schemmel,Crispin Freeman

We already went over the fact that Chickenbeard was an Agnostic and thet Freeman was a Buddhist.

Off Topic: Did you know that Buddhism is actually born form Atheism....But we can save that Debate for another day,In another topic.

Back On Topic: I think it's cool that we have a Christian working for ADV Films. BTW, are their any Christians who work for Manga Entertainment?

Troy Baker will forever be hilarious to me, because I originally knew him as Frank Archer from FMA. And now I find out he plays a priest in another Anime, and is Christian. Odd casting choices.

As I said I was merely going back over what we did know of those who weren't Christian.

So both Father Nightroad and Vash were played by Christians.

Ethnic Jew or Religious Jew? Same question goes for Joshua Seth as well.

Probably ethnic Jewish to start with since in America that's what a lot of Jews mainly seem to be.

I think when it says Jewish they mainly mean ethnic. At least that is what it seems to me it means these days.I don't think there are very many Jews who would consider themselves 'religious Jews'.

To be honest there aren't that many Jews where I live so I was just making a guess.
It is possible though for one to be ETHNICALLY Jewish and RELIGIOUSLY Christian.
If you get my point.

One question I have are we only counting those who support themselves by mainly doing voice acting or do we include other actors who may from time to time do voice acting but support themseleves with other forms of acting?

The Hollywood Celebs are the only ones we are not counting.

I was at Wikiepedia today looking up casts of different anime series and came across what they had on Barbara Goodson.Evidently she is a RELIGIOUS JEW as that is what they had on her under Religion.

It might be wrong, because I don't know any Religious Jew who would do the Voice of Characters on a Christian Cartoon Show or A Catholic Animated Special.

Anyway, until we find more Christian VA's,Lets talk about the ones we have already.

1. The actress for Mary in The Passion of the Christ is agnostic. So that blows your theory away.

2. Can we just let this thread die already? I'm sorry but I see no point in it any longer.

Ummm...no. I think this thread has a lot of point to it. It's interesting to see how the religion of the V/A relates to the kind of roles they take.

If you want the thread to die, then don't post in it.
