I only have one thing to say its about time. I just watched the first movie it what seems to be the next chapter of Robotech it seems it will be a serial set of movies because it has yet to be solved at the end of the first move. It Parrelles the last couple episodes of the 3rd season od robotech and then takes off from there. The animation is quit diffent but you will recognize characters from all 3 seasons of robotech. I also found it interesting that the guy who helped right the script was the guy who created Megas XLR and front cover of the movie says and "Featuring The voiceof Mark Hamill" (Starwars) yet he is only in the show for around 5 minuets.

They probably use his name as a draw so that people unfamiliar with Robotech will watch.

He ( Mark Hamill) also did the voice of the Hydanite that was second in command.

All right thats good but um did anyone else watch the show yet and if you did. Was it enjoyable.

In my humble opinion it is enjoyable.

From a scale of one and ten I give it a eight.

I heard is was a pretty unremarkable failure, but really you could only expect so much from Harmony Gold trying to squeeze the last drops of milk from this long-gone cash cow.

From the info that I heard, the movie was just a plot and if it did really well. They would make a tv series out of it.

around episode 112 I dont have this is just rounded from ruff math. Yet in the extras of the disk they said they wanted to use movies so they would not have to Deal with exects telling them what they have to do toput it on tv.

I've read some of the novels but not seen any of Robotech past episode 24,but isn't the third season the one with the Invid?

The machross saga is the best. Yet the 3rd season is pretty good to the second season is almost not even worth watching though

Macross actually.
Lynn Kyle is the one person I can't stand in Robotech.I think the fact that he's older than Minmei makes it harder for her to go against his will.

that and its almost like an arranged marriage from the begging (I thnk hes her cousin but I cant remember) Whats nice is Rick does make an apperance in the movie although he is really old.

Due to the sells of the Robotech:SC, there are plans to make a sequel.

From the reviews I've read and from what I've heard from friends who've seen it its a pretty dismal experience. My only real concern is as a Macross purist I'd hate to see any of "the trio" (Hikaru/Misa/Minmei) become murdered in the americanized version..........
