Oh,no wonder I didn't recognize him,all scruffy and everything. Then again he was the only one with an English accent!
Though seriously I was paying more attention to when George Takei was going to be on.

I had no doubt that this was eventually coming. Now...
who can they find that can portray the chivalrous evil of The Master in just the right way.
An interesting factoid:One of the primary reasons why Anthony Ainley got the
role of the Master was his physical resemblance to the late Roger Delgado.

I was surprised at Dalek Zec.I was ready to just put him down as just another DW villian but then when he explains his plan to the Doctor
I began to change my mind.Too bad the 'Pure'Daleks didn't share his
ideals.

I was kind of disappointed with the whole "beam out at the last second" thing. :/

I don't think so. In the season one episode it sounded like the Dalek had come to Earth with space debris.

I was actually wondering the same thing because of the way that the Doctor acted when it said they would meet again. Then again when I was watching Dr.Who Confidential:Cutdown after The Empty Child on PBS
Saturday night and they showed Rose and the Dalek I kept thinking:
"I hope Billie doesn't end up doing a Katie Manning!"

i may be recalling incorrectly, but i'm fairly certain that the dalek in the episode with rose referred to itself as the last dalek and also a member of the cult referred to in the evolution episode, and isn't it just poetic justice that this very same dalek ended up evolving into a new creature from the direct contact it made with rose, and once it came to this realization, it self destructed, how very interesting indeed

It might be since Evolution of the Daleks takes place in 1932 or so and
Dalek takes place around the 2010s.

I think that was a different dalek.

Anyway, I thought it was good that a Dalek saw the flaw in their race

what kills me is that they have the gaul to use a cover of the theme song from the old flash gordon movie of the 80's that was done by queen....ugh.....it was bad enough the first time......

Well last night ep was interesting
especially knowing that Mr. Saxon is the Master
and How
he tried to get Martha's mom against the Doctor, and the whole enemy.
It would be neat if the doctor would go somewhere else for a while

I do believe that Saxon=The Master is one of the WORST kept secrets.
I think everyone who has been a Whovian for any length of time by now
and has been following the new series has more or less come to the conclusion that Saxon is either The Master or someone else very important.

Off topic:If people are going to talk about Flash Gordon then go to the
Flash Gordon thread.

Well we have the Daleks and Cybermen and waiting for The Master.I think the only major villian we haven't seen again has been The Rani.

The sultarian(sp), the ice warriors, the celestial toymaker, The melding monk, Sutek, the Denominators would all be good villains to bring back.

btw I was watching the lost years the crusade eps and I was thinking wouldn't be neat to have a historical adventure.
