Is there anyone here who would strongly recommend this series for purchase? Even though there's only three discs, I have a very limited budget with regard to anime purchases and wanted to know if this is a series worth buying or renting. I enjoy stuff along the lines of Haibane Renmei and Figure 17, which is why this show strikes me as having similiar qualities in both of them.

Thanks in advance.

I've heard good things about it from secular review sites....I'm not sure about the content, though, and I haven't had a chance yet to see it for myself. ^^;

Well the girl is supposedly "a god" and the series deals a lot with meeting other gods and spirits and stuff like that. Pretty harmless for the most part but there's a lot of it in there. I havent' seen the whole show so I'm not sure how it ends but other then the gods/spirits stuff there isn't anything objectionable. Personally I found it kind of odd, but I guess it does kind of remind me of Haibane Renmei only funnier.

I found it to be very similar to Spirited Away in regard to the issue of gods and spirits. One thing that is very striking is the animation. It is very top notch.

If you do decide to proceed with the purchase you need to know there are actually 4 volumes to the series, not 3.
