Both topics aren't even discussing the game itself as of now so I suppose it's not clear which should be locked. Since this is newer, I'll try to get a topic going for the game.

As Master Dias said in another thread, Square is in spinoff/sequel mode.

A new Final Fantasy game is finally announced that will be the first FF game to be all on its own (XII derived from Tactics and now has a sequel) called XIII.

Then we find out THAT already has a spin off.

Square needs to make more originals. I would support sequels and spin offs any day, but Square sucks at making them. They destroyed the FF7 universe already.

I never said this SHOULD be locked, but I assumed it would be since there was another thread with the same topic that talks more about the game itself than this does.

But yes, you're right it's an old thread so you making another one does not mean it should be locked. It was just a lot older than I thought it was so sorry. I just searched it and didn't see the dates.

See, posts like yours and mine have no relevance to the topic, but I'm not exactly the one who needs to chill out since I couldn't care less if this thread gets locked since its not mine.

Now, can we just get to the relevant discussion of bashing Square Enix for making crappy sequels and spin-offs?
